99% of the time I'd agree with you, but if I told the story to any regular where I play (Horseshoe Hammond in Chicago), they'd 100% agree with me that she was not re-leveling me, she actually thought I made a good point.

The other guy at the table who kind of nodded and agreed with me as well, I think there's a fairly big chance he knew it was all a bunch of crap.

Next time just start yelling ( louder then the ring tone) "sir you have a call" " sir you have a call" "sir you have a call"

ITT fish are hated for having gills & living underwater.

Also, I hate how I have to pull out the bones before consumption.

Too bad most players aren't the types you'd wanna hear them from

Same thing basically:
1. "I put you all in."
2. Pointing to your chip stack: "I bet that much."

New player sits at the table. Brings cash, rather than going to the cage (no chip-runners at my casino). Game slows down as dealer spends time giving the new player chips. The rack is decimated resulting in a fill being required sooner. New player decides to wait for big blind even though they're in the hijack position. 5+ minutes pass during which the new player doesn't play a hand and could have gotten chips him/herself.

playing crap hands for every hand through at least the flop. they play every hand for 3 orbits in a row with anything, there really should be no need to look at their cards, then they fold preflop with no raise right before i see i have aces

I do that sometimes to check if somebody makes a standard continuation bet or actually flops something .. it does actually work very good ...

sorry to tilt you!

Here's one that drives me nuts...playing 1/2, big blind waits for the action to get to him before he looks at his cards.....as if other players are looking at the big blind for tells to try to steal his blind. It slows down the game and irritates me---maybe it shouldn't, but it does.

Bad beat stories should be limited to 7 seconds. Anybody who goes over tilts me.

1) People who have their chips in stacks of 10

2) When the guy in the two seat places his bets three inches in front of him when a tiny female dealer is in the box and I have to move them every time so she can reach it.

3) When two guys who have never seen each other in their life become best friends at the table within five minutes and show each other their cards and talk strategy etc. One usually busts on some horrible call/bluff and his buddy acts like his new best friend played the hand with expertise.

4) This one tilts me super hard.... I get it all in preflop with AA versus AK, for example, and I have my opponent OBVIOUSLY covered. The dealer starts to count stacks before putting the board out there.... jesus christ, DEAL FIRST

people who think every decision should revolve around the odds of the table hitting the bad beat jackpot

"Good luck all-in"

"big blind special"

Or any other unoriginal poker expressions.

As for something that is actually tilt-inducing and not just a minor annoyance, when someone says "you got it" after the action on the river and then turns over a hand that has plenty of showdown value given the action.

People who after every board start saying what hands the players would have needed for the Jackpot
People who can't believe you mucked 22 preflop with 4 all ins in front of you cuz its a "jackpot hand"
Guys who act like they're phil ivey as they're sitting at the lowest buyin table in town
Live donks who talk about how bad internet players are
People who call out what hand the other player has when it has absolutely no relevance to the board, ie , board is JQ729 and guy says "guy has A8, no doubt, its A8"
Guys who "take it easy" on the women at the table. She's gonna try to take ur money, don't let up on her
The 45 year old minimum wage guy who starts chatting it up with the gorgeous asian girl that sits down and saying the weakest most desperate lines and thinking she's eating it up and were all jealous
Guys who constantly talk about the "big" games they play in Vegas, "ya last weekend was playing $50/$100NL up in Vegas" ya sure u were dude, that's why u play 1/2 everytime I see you

Re: 4.l Have to remember, not every player at the poker room is honest. Player goes AIPF with hand that's dominated, AK v. AA is certainly an obvious one, dealer counts out the stacks and puts the chips in the middle to make sure correct amount will be shipped to winner - you're risking someone trying to go south once they realized they've lost. If the attempt works, the big stack just got cheated. If the attempt works in that the dealer didn't catch it but a player did, that dealer may get in trouble because by not first making the pot right before anything else, he let the door open for going south.

I play 2/5, so I'll use that as an example. Two guys with fairly big stacks,, one well approaching 2K, the other hovering around the 1K area. One guy still clearly has more than the other. The lesser stack has more than 1 black ($100) chip. During the betting action, the bigger stack never concerned himself with how many black chips the lesser stack has since he knew the guy's ultimate chip total is somewhere in the 1K range - 600 in reds, and either 3, 4, or 5 blacks.

AA (big stack) opens for 25, AK (lesser stack) raises to 100, AA raises to 300, lesser stacks shoves. Is AA really going to ask for a count? No. He's snap calling, otherwise he's a slow rolling jerk.

So he snap calls, and lesser stack realizes he's in a boatload of trouble. Dealer acknowledges big stack has lesser stack covered and begins to run out board.

There's PLENTY of opportunity from the time big stack snaps with AA to when dealer runs out board and confirms that AA won the hand for lesser stack to try to sneak a black off the table. A lot of people snap with AA and show quickly, attention turns to the cards being tabled, or on the board when the dealer hits it.

If there's no one with a big chips, sure, just run it out. Or at least get all the chips in the middle quickly then run it out. Good luck sneaking an entire 20-stack of reds.

^^^ Hypotheticals are irrelevant. Dealers do this in tournaments, and it is absurd.

Definitely absurd in tournaments. And it's not a hypothetical. I've seen people try to take chips off the table in an all-in situation. It's certainly not common, but it is a legitimate concern.
