Damn my ignore list gets abused in these threads.

I have to agree that the only interesting thing about this week's PAD is the line-up, which would probably receive less criticism for being boring if it wasn't straight after the cash game ep. They can only get worse from here this season, so I probably won't be watching any others.

The only criticism I can find with analysing the hands is that the fish will get scared, as evidenced in this thread.

You haters need to ltagf, step outside for a couple of mins and you'll see plenty of "weird" people. I'd hate to live in your tv world.

Have durrrr and sbrugby played a lot together online before this? I know durrrr was mentioning something about a PLO hand they played, but I was curious if they had played a lot of NL. It seemed like durrrr was trying to fish for a lot of information from sbrugby about how he was playing...

Oh yeah what was that PLO hand.. I figured there'd be some mention of it here.

Durr: 73xx
Some guy?: 64xx

Board: 7-7-5-3

Durr calls him down? Is sad for a week because he didn't shove or something?

That's what it sounds like, but I'm not sure if I just am mishearing an accent.

What about Doyle Runson? Didn't anyone else catch this? The guy can't pronounce **** he really needs to have his salivary glands checked out.

I liked the way Doyle summed them up, they analyze everything to death that would drive me crazy. Once again Doyle owns everybody.

It wasn't as bad as yall keep saying. Durrr had started donking off til he luck boxed up and paired his giant 3 kicker. It seems he gets a pocket pair every other hand. It will be nice to see when he stops running so hot, he will be a sadder figure than Brian Towensend is now

I would think the nets would be much quicker to act, they are used to playing many tables with action timers. Maybe they are overly concerned on TV with analyzing everything.

I thought he lost the hand to Townsend, when BT had a str8?

Ahh so it was BT. I couldn't pick up on the hand that well, but it sounded like Durr filled up on the turn so I couldn't work out why he was dejected.

Sounded to me like Durr had 73xx on a board of 7553 and was upset when he lost to straight.

this is easily less boring than 50% of the PADs that have ever been on (75% maybe?) but i think expectations were raised by the previous week

yes, PAD as a sit 'n go format has always been pretty boring. this is nothing new. i'd give my first born for a permanent switch to cash games

the heads up tournament structure should be pretty interesting....but the cash game was by far the best week

Love Doyle's interview comments, and yeah, Thomas and Andrew really over analyze every f*ckin hand it seems, although i laughed at the Johnny vs Thomas hand, that was kinda funny.

Fav quote "You should be scared of this big pair, not Doyle Brunson"

Call me nostalgic but i hope Doyle takes it.

the first time I heard of good2cu was the high stakes bathroom propbet where he made a bs propbet with loosely defined rules that weren't enforced. Then he iirc bought out with 10+ days left in the month after having the bet mediated by the best friend of the guy he was betting.
then when asked about it on PAD he said the guy lasted the whole month...

My question is why not tell the truth about how horrible he is at propbets and how he hates money...might get more action imo

The guy's from Michigan, give him a break.

CPSUpoker, dude, you forgot the red laser sight lines coming out of his eyes!

I thought my hearing was going bad! Robl's talking like he's got an unmolded fighter's mouthpiece in. But I still think the South Park reference earlier in this thread is a better description!

+1

For most of the 2 shows...it seems him and Johnny feel trapped in a room full of 60 yr. old women in a hair salon!

Fwiw I think Townsend is a natural in front of the camera and comes off articulate and charismatic.
The other two, not so much...pretty much opposite of charisma.
