phil seriously needs to shut the **** I normally can handle his talking but he is tilting the **** out of me this episode

Ali said they were "affectionately" referring to Chris as "the nit", but I didn't detect even the slightest hint of affection. Matusow seems genuinely annoyed with him.

Hellmuth's cash game play and table talk tilts me to no end.

Run me over for 40 hands and then I'll get the nuts, blah blah...yeah, and they'll just fold.

Also fun is Ali calling the show uneventful compared to past cash games on PAD...well yeah, having a bunch of terrible nits playing cash is not the best idea in the world. And Durrrr spoils us all.

Also at least Ferguson seems aware of his nitty nit image and is making a few plays that you wouldn't quit expect him to make like 4betting 33 on show one, his 72ss play, etc. But still it is so painful to watch thus far, hopefully Phil's blowup vs Adams is good.

Phil pretty much has to blow up at some point. Lately, he's had something extra to prove to the world and sadly for him, this equates to seemingly intentionally picking the worst spot to make a move.
He can't bring himself to just sit back and play well. He's going to try and make a dumb move in a dumb spot.
His whining turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy, especially with a line up of smart, thinking players that know how he plays his strong hands.

Hellmuth is his own Achilles heel. His own worst enemy.

I love the meth-mouth, cokehead clench of the teeth that Matusow shows when everyone folded to his AJ straddle.

It's like he's frothing at the mouth, but maybe that froth is just some coke spilling down from his nasal cavity.

This is like the kiddie game compared to HSP. Ali must be jealous of Gabe.

Hellmuth is playing fairly well imo. I don't think he'll be the biggest loser with this table.

He flats a raise from the BB with JJ, flop comes QT4 he check min raises the flop, check calls the turn, and min bet/folds the river. LOL -- also saying out loud "maybe if I bet 600 he won't raise me" on the river hahahahahaha.

Also the AQ hand vs Antonio he was just sooooooo excited to flop TPTK you could tell by his body language and he couldn't even help but talk as he raised "can't let this go without a raise this time..." blah blah blah. He's so awful it's funny.

Also think about this...he limps AQo oop to Antonio to trap...Antonio just happens to have QT, a hand he dominates, and the flop just happens to come Qxx and he STILL barely gets any value and even checks the river after setting his "trap" on the turn with his check raise so Antonio gets a free showdown anyways! How horrible is that?

I honestly don't think he understands that TPTK is a lot different in 20-30bb tournament poker than it is in 100bb+ cash game poker.

Still don't see him getting ran over. And I'm in no way a PH fan either.

The amount they play for doesn't really entertain me that much. As long as the level of play is good or interesting. Or if the table is hilarious.

Well it's all relative. It's the difference between bluffing a new car and bluffing a new house.

The table dynamics are most important to me too, and other than The Mouth this table is realllllly dry.

Painful to watch. Mike betting PH 20k that hes walking away a looser and than immediatly trying to duck out "because it's bad for the game".
You could see his brain go: "oh sh*t I bet him 20k, thats too much, oh oh..."
PH talking about all his bad beats (everybody has them Phil, your just the only one constantly talking about them!) was annoying. And Jesus tanking for ten minutes to call 800 with a pair and flush draw. Seriously?
