Actually I think he ended up broke when Ivey flopped a set vs. his AA. He did start off really well, but he's really not that good of a cash game player. He actually looked uncomfortable when his stack got deep.

Far to many nits in this cash game to make it watchable.

nthing that this lineup is a joke. i just don't even get how something like this even happens. there are very few people who, if in charge, would manage to come up with a lineup this bad for television. is someone trying to sabotage the show? were all the non-nits unavailable? from an entertainment perspective, the only thing likely to save this from being completely unwatchable is hellmuth's ego and self-delusion

Huge +1!. All the PAD lineups this year through to may are a joke. The show was looking so good recently with the cash games but just because a format is succesful doesnt mean you can put any 6 nits in and people will like it..

These are the upcoming ones I could find, a random 5/10 table on ftp looks more exciting..

Wasn't Todd Brunson the biggest cash game winner ever at some point? He's no nit.

Antonio is good and is no nit.

Brandon Adams is good and not that nitty.

Ferg is good and can change it up severely as we saw on Million Dollar Cash game. Matusow has instances of playing really good too. He's improved so much since like 05.

And they're bringing on viffer who can be good too, and no nit.

The only one I can't really defend is Hellmuth...but then you actually said he's the only redeeming quality! lol nice posting as always, blanko. Must be weird being never right.

Dennis Phillips should be a very interesting addition too. Wonder if he's going to play terribly. All-in-all this should be a fun and entertaining week. Just wish they were playing a little higher.

i think were all just spoiled as far as tv cash games go lately as theyve all had some combo of durr/pa/ivey.

give this line up a chance.

I can't believe I am about to say this, but I am actually quite looking forward to this lineup... ie something different than Dwan, Ivey and Antonius just carving up the table each week... I'm starting to get bored of it.

Even if the poker sucks, Mike and Phil at the same table makes it worth watching.

PH actually stands a chance at this table if he catches some cards, 50k buy-in games are more his level. I don't think Ivey, durr, and PA would get out of bed for a 50k game anymore. Also, I'm thinking that Antonio will run these guys over and pull off a big win.

yeah, i'm going to give this week a chance as well.

i thought the 'Nicknames' week lineup sucked on paper too but it ended up being one of the most entertaining PAD's ever.

antonio is fun to watch when he's comfortable (ie no durr, ivey, antonius) and when idiot laak isnt around to banter with. i havent seen brunson play in a long time, so thatll be cool. and of course a hellmuthian explosion will make it complete.

not remotely close to a lineup i would select in 2010, but should be relatively entertaining....i hope!

Feel sorry for the people that can't watch anything without PA, PI and TD in. Sure I enjoy watching them play a lot, but some people take it too far.

The line-up looks terrible. I guess they are looking for new blood, but I think I'm only going to watch to see hellmuth blow up...

I expect that this is a two week cash game, as they always do... and I expect Hellmuth to bust out half way in and be replaced by viffer

I agree @sjm44! I actually think this is going be quite funny. See how these guys play when the blinds are three times lower than the regular TV cash game. I'm sure they'll mix it up some!

They all made their money from the fish before the boom and these days just sit on their ass doing endorsements(Hellmuth - UB and pokerbrat) or real estate (Brunson) or even professor!(Adams)

Imo the only person that could be considered a pro poker player there is the Magician.

I think it will be cool to actually see other players that the HSP line up.

You can see these 3 every Sunday night.

I think Esfandiari and Brunson will be the big winners.

I think has actually made some strides in his game recently and I am rooting for him to be the big winner.

I think everyone except Hellmuth and Matusow actually made some strides in their games. I do agree with you that Esfandiari will be the big winner, but I haven't seen Todd Brunson play on TV in like 2 years.
