I've maybe played pool 2x in the last year. walk into pool hall today and break/run 13 vs the one-pocket ghost (ran 13balls into one pocket) on a triple-shimmed (very tight) table first try. A bit of variance but still pretty F solid.
Missed a relatively easy bank to get all 15
I'm sure this is written in English and I can play pool a bit, but I have no clue what you're saying.
I guess it must be similar to discussing something in pokerterms to someone who doesn't play poker.
in pool there is a game called "one pocket" where the objective is to shoot 8 balls in your pocket before your opponent shoots 8 balls into his pocket. the pockets are decided before the break, by the breaker (both of the bottom pockets).
"playing the ghost" means to play a game by yourself where - after the break - if you ever miss a shot before you finish the game, you lose.
i racked 15 balls up, i broke the balls (a lot softer than a normal 8ball break), I shot 13 of the 15 balls consecutively into a single pocket.
This sentence has me imagining you scouring a food court in some Malaysian mall for a bottle of Chateau Montelena to go with your monkey and fried rice combo at Panda Express.
Wow, this post was worth the wait....'sup bones, .
SiQ - I think you should have someone video your full games of pool. For some reason I think you've already done this kind of but man, it always sounds so sick when you play.
Also, didn't Dali pool-shark back in the day? You should go HU4Rollz with Dali, .
Siq, you might be great at pool but if you came up against Fast "Derby" de Scheur you'd stand no chance, because the minute you started winning he'd "remind" you of a long lost Dutchie rule that has only ever existed in Dutchieland.
He hustled me, Jamie and Tim in Manchester with some outlandish rule swap!

you beat the ghost by making 8, i won and then some
they had top pros trying to run 15 on a triple-shim at the DCC a few years ago and iirc nobody did it for days until they moved to a table with bigger pockets.
no idea how daliman plays, and I'm not THAT good, but I'm good enough to be willing to play pretty much any well known poker player if I'm not super rusty. I wanted to get a game with Viffer but I wasn't playing when he was in town and I probably would've needed a stake to bet enough for him at the time - a guy I know played him instead.
Yugo, if I ever start playing again I'll video a lot of games (it's good for improving). Here is a really old video of me playing 9ball against the ghost (starting with ball-in-hand) for I think $10 or $20 a game.
I forgot to close the Stars client on my Desktop before leaving the house, and now I can't log in from my laptop/iPad/iPhone - is there anything I can do?
