so does stars have some data to back up the price point on hyper double shootout sats?
10.20 may appear like alot more money to rec?demographics than 9.30 does and maybe at that very specific 2 figures vs 1 figure price point it may be enough not to charge enough to pay everyone who wins table 1. maybe.
but everyone who wins their first table and gets $11 back but doesnt win a seat is just going to snap re-register the next one wheras the sting of fting and getting 0 or pennies back one or a few times will deter future participation and theres 70 events coming up soon...

im sure you have some sort of data to back up the decision to pay 1 seat and one player gets their buyin back rather than it just being a purely arbitrary motive but i cant imagine its the optimal structure for raising or maintaining participation
(and noone gives a damn or should about how these structures perform/attract participants when the target is $11 and the buyin is pennies, only sats to larger targets 109-530 the ones where people actualy might care about the investment in the satelte should be factored in to choosing structures)
id be very curious to see how 20s to the monday and wed 530 omahas would do

Looks like Satellites to PCA started today...
Halving the Main Event Buy-In to $5,300 was a good move IMO. Could actually boost the number of players but this also strongly depends on Stars' Online Satellite offerings.
