The 6-Max Hypers will start one hour before the start of the event and run through late reg.

In terms of putting players into the target, these satellites are not helpful at all earlier than that. Looking at the Sunday 500, only 1.5% of the seats won outside the last hour before the event, are used to actually play in the event.

Or is it if I win 200 of those 1000 games, and dont play, I would count for 200 people in the sample?

15 of 1000 seats won, not unique players. In your example, you would indeed count for 200 seats won.

Baard, I don't understand you at all, lol. That is such a flawed way to look at this and will obviously create a low % of seats created given how reggy the format is (and how reggy EVERY format of SNG $100+ is).

To me, and I REALLY don't understand how you don't see this, this format is hugely profitable for Pokerstars along with being popular among players. Again, please realize that most of the regular players are losing a significant amount of money pre RB, which means PS is making more than just rake - rb for nearly the entire player population; if regs are wanting to battle in a format where they aren't making much money, and PS is printing $, just put the damn game in the lobby all week long!

And again, even though there aren't satellites to the target in the lobby at all times, I am pretty certain that at $74+ stakes, there are more hyper sats that go off than any other format of SNG besides possibly the 25bb cash hypers....the format is clearly popular, Pokerstars kills in terms of profit, and the players playing the format are clearly fine battling away, as Nike says, JUST DO IT

Using your stat, if jdawg and I decide to play the Sunday Million after grinding the $74 sats all week, the number would balloon up. And suddenly 6m hyper-sats are a great success, right!?


I think using that stat may have made it look like having a game in the lobby an extra 48 hours/week doesn't produce many more entries, when in actual fact the slow drip of players entering the MTT over that period could even cover those precious last 15mins before the MTT (where your stat % is super high, but not many games run).

The issue that Pstars has with hypers running around the clock is profit margins. From their perspective they think that if a 6 max table is filled with 5 regs and 1 rec (and we're under the assumption that post rakeback the 5 regs make money, hence they're regs) then that money must come from the rec player. Pstars feels that other offerings offer higher margins for themselves such as Spin and Go's.
In a consumer based industry a company shouldn't steer people away from a product that they actually want to something else that's not up to the consumers taste for the sake of profits as players will just stop playing.

Well considering almost every game that goes off is 6 professional players, then that logic is just wrong/false. As I say, over and over, this format is literally one that PS profits the most from, and the regs, of which most games that go off are 6regs, are making very little, so there is ZERO reason for the lobby to not be there all week

This is pretty much everyone in my DB that grinds mostly $74s-714s, note that this includes SNE rb as well and games vs me as most of these players are blocked on SS; pretty absurd most regs aren't making much money POST RB in games vs me (likely a ****ton of 6reg games)









And some individual graphs from 5 of the >10k game samples vs me, note most are sharply downswinging recently, that I think is due to the fact that the games have deteriorated the past like 4 months or so from what I've seen

hourly x3 sats on sunday for sun 500 or at least start them earlier in the day?

change thursday thrill x3 sats to 4.95$ x3 or 4.40, no reason why these should be different buy to st x3 sats?

players want Thursday Thrill changed to $4.40+R like Super Tuesday.

- Satelites to 265ko and 320 6max. 10r/15r/20r turbo or non turbo preferably, but like 33 or 44 regspeed would work aswell
- EPT satelites that run much earlier, like noon-3pm eurotime. Also have the 22$ mustplays into them like the aussiesats do. You could try it out without a guarentee even if you are scaared of overlay.

Also +1 on regspeed sats to the weekender

why instead of having a bunch of "vanilla" satellites to red/big event satties/320-265ko etc (i.e. with less then 3 tickets etc, things like 11r that got cancelled a lot etc) , don't we have one big deadline sat (which have a lot of people especially when in the 27-55 range) and a couple of 10-20 seat GTD ?

Totally agree with this. The 7.50 3xs are too expensive for a lot of the players.

would you be so kind and fix min players to 4, it will not have overlay with 4 players but got cancelled a lot in the past weeks.

quick fix which would improve the sats

yesterday was first im noticed how overloaded the lobby is with sattys on a sunday, a lot of them have low buyins and only 1 seat guaranteed, a bunch of them were cancelled as well.

I suggest less sattys, more seats gtd. give the rec's a chance to not get super lost in the lobby imo...

you have to use the filters in the sat tab, rebuys freezeouts or type in EPT ..... then its fine
