Well, "Grady" is actually Keith McCready. He was a very good pro. pool player, one of the best in his day. Still plays really good right now.

iirc Hillary Salamis aka. Ziigmund was a pro pool player too - or was trying to become one at least.

I heard something about that. Ziig def wasn't a pro/top player, can't really comment on much else IDK how he plays but I hear that about a few poker players.

Only person I know of who was supposed to be actually somewhat decent, not great, was Degenyamine. But I can't confirm.
They said Daniel Neg was supposed to be good but my insider info says he's not good at all (snooker and pool).

I'll gladly gamble all the pro poker players who claim to be good pool players, just so we can spot out the fakes

I used to be good during the summer camp days where we got to play daily. I play like once every year or two nowadays with degens like cha, and hence, now suck. Though iirc I made some clutch shots, ala my beer pong style.

just got some VIP tickets through my job to go to the event, and it would be cool to say hi to any STTers that are going.

Pretty good tickets I got as well! Access to the VIP lounge with free food and drink (iam gonna get wasted then low a load of £ on the cash tables!)
As well as dinner with betfair and one of their pro's will be there (hopefully annette!).

Think we get to meet jefferry pollock as well, which i am quitw looking forward to (as I am a saddo ) to see what goes into the event in terms of planning.

When does it start/end? I may take a flight to London in the weekend of the event to hook up with my mate who will be playing.
