PLEASE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION:
**Please clean the damn poker chips** They are disgusting. This seems simple & maybe petty - But the chips are literally terrible. I'm not sure how many people have voiced this concern, but I can safely say that everyone agrees - The chips are super sticky, dirty, & nasty already.. To be fair, I know it's been hectic getting everything up & running.. But many are complaining & laughing at the state of the chips in the SugarHouse poker room.

What are the plans in the future for dealing with this mess? I know some big name casino's have ultrasonic cleaners, others hold out & eventually purchase new chips (because they don't give a ****), while others send them out for cleaning, etc. Some-what dirty felt is to be expected throughout the year, but sticky/dirty chips are awful. PLEASE don't think people will just shrug it off.. It sucks. <<opinion voiced>>

...With this very small annoyance out of the way... I can't believe how well run the room is & how great (a majority of the dealers) are at dealing! Raye, you really have done a spectacular job with the room so far - I know many others that have moved up from Harrah's or down from Parx (folks that are closer to the city) & are now regulars at the room. Great things coming once the main room gets completed; I'm sure of it. People are very happy with how well organized, safe, and fun the room is.. Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks,
Sammy

I will be in town for a conference at the convention center next week. I was hoping someone could help me out.
I don't know yet if I will have my car for this trip as I am coming with a group. I see there's a free shuttle to the casino. Is this easy to use? How close to the convention center do they pick up and drop off?
I'm pretty unfamiliar with the town, so the maps haven't been much help. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's an easy walk through the outlet shopping village to the boardwalk, maybe 10 minutes. Or you can hop on a jitney at the train station.

I think he's talking about the Philadelphia Convention Center since this is the SugarHouse thread. Not AC lol.

Yeh, just go to 30th St station, take the train to AC, then follow the above directions.

Sammy - Thank-you for you for the feedback. I received an email this week from my VP informing us that we have purchased a ultrasonic chip cleaner and have already started cleaning the chips. I'm going to show your post to her in the hopes that the chips in the poker room get moved up to the front of the line! The new room is going to be outstanding! I think everyone will be impressed. Within the next month we will get blueprints and renderings of what the poker room will look like and have it on display for the players to view. Raye

Great job on the promotions this final week of July.I liked the hourly promotion for the regulars hopefully you can keep this moving forward. The high hand promotions is definitely superior then the BBJ speaking of BBJ would you guys consider capping the bbj?

You didn't have enough dealers at the start of the promotion yesterday, but it was good to see some of the higher ups dealing to compensate. I didn't win a HH yesterday, but it was a fun Wednesday in the poker room. Nice job using the big screens to keep everyone up to date on the high hand.

Raye

Keep up the great work. Love the room!

A request: can you do something about the cost of Fiji water? 3 bucks for 12 oz is crazy considering you are giving beers and hard alcohol away for free.

Your small bottles of water taste horrible. I don't know why you have to charge 3 bucks for Fiji. If you have to charge, I am sure you are not paying more than a buck a bottle so why not charge one dollar for the Fiji?

Thanks so much

I'm pretty sure it's free for 1/3 and up

And I am also surprised about the lack of free Red Bull. Why not give away something that lets the players play longer and costs about as much as a beer? Does not make sense to me...

Ok, well I guess that makes sense since 1/3 brings in much more rake.

Oh wait....

Raye, I can maybe understand not having your servers carry around Fiji as your generic water, but if asked for, why not have it free for 1/2 players too?

Thank-you for the post. We updated Bravo to say Saturday August 8, 2015. Here are the details. We are giving way $5000 tomorrow between 2:00pm and 1:00am every hour to the highest hand. Each hour we will randomly give away anywhere from $250 to $750. It's a surprise every hour! Please call the poker podium at 215-717-3883 for more details. Raye
