The glass is hardly noticeable IMO, but that's coming from Live where the glass was very noticeable. 7-handed is the bomb - much more space for legs, arms, etc. Things seem clean so far.

Give it a try; you might like it!

Tight regs. Better games at Maryland Live

One way to table change loophole would be play for the 4 hours (I think it's 4 hours) then go on a "dinner break"....go take a break come back in 15 minutes boom new table.

Mostly want to know what the feel is like of playing surrounded by plexi glass, available space at the table, comfort-ability, cleanliness, etc.

I haven't been to Live, and from the pictures, it just has the "feel" of like playing poker in a secluded box without much room to do anything.

Thinking about making a trip in the near future.
i've been playing at Live for 2 weeks and TBH it's no different than playing pre-coved once you get used to being in a lil booth, which only took an hour to get used to. MGM has an even better set up.

The only thing that keeps happening is the dealer can't hear too well, so ppl just need to speak up louder when acting. It's business as usual.

Volume is lower than I would have expected, even after they brought promos back. I think a lot of people are choosing Live right now simply because of the ability to table change or seat change. This rule is also causing people to leave the casino entirely sooner than they otherwise would because they don't like the game they're stuck at. I know this isn't the long term plan, but the sooner changes are allowed, the better it will be for everyone.

I think everything else has been done very well, I'm impressed.

Heading over for the first time tonight. I haven’t been this excited to play poker in a long time. Hope everything goes well.

Really impressed so far. Great job Johnny. I might want to leave the dividers up permanently.

Only thing that I might suggest is maybe making the music a touch louder because with everyone wearing a mask it’s deathly quiet in here. Overall very very pleased.

Now the 2nd person walking is considered 3rd man walking and will be picked up when s/he gets A missed blind button.
(1st person walking will be picked up on the 2nd missed blind button.)

So long as this is enforced consistently, this is a good change imo. Keeps folks in their seats.

Love this rule to crush the promo walkers
Although it does make it harder to smoke my medicine in the car and make it back

I love all of the rule changes, great job Johnny! Games have been fast, loose, and very fun this week. All of the changes improve the experience independent of COVID, and I hope they are kept forever.
1. 7-handed Tables - more hands/hour, more action
2. Dividers - better-defined space and cleanliness, huge impediment to arguments and obnoxious cross-talk
3. No table or seat-changes - speeds up play and prevents predatory bum-hunting
4. Only $100 bills for table rebuys - speeds up play
5. No food at tables - speeds up play, improves cleanliness
6. 2nd-player walking - speeds up play, prevents promo-parking, etc.
7. No spectators - improves safety and speeds up play, reduces crowding and prevents loiterers/lurkers potentially watching players cashout, etc.

I played at LIVE before MGM opened and I bashed my head against the glass (unintentionally) several times during the session. I agree, the MGM glass is far less intrusive.

The dividers are horrible in practice and should be removed as soon as they possibly can be. Poker is a social game and the dividers ruin most of that experience. If you want anti-social poker put on your headphones or play online.

Hopefully Covid kills 9 handed poker and MGM goes to 8 handed poker, post Covid.

No internet access, so online poker is out, but headphones, now that’s an interesting idea. I’ll definitely get me some of those and test it out. Thanks!
