$300 High Hands every hour

9:15am-2:15pm
$500 High Hands every 30 minutes

No such rumors. The state depends on the revenue so unless something cataclysmic happens probably open for now.

Enjoy your trip.

The only way to table transfer:
- Play different stakes.
- Take a dinner break.
- Pick up and leave and then return to the poker room after a long break.

I gave up on the room’s Wi-Fi a long time ago. When I am there, I turn off Wi-Fi on my iPhone, and I just use cellular. While I am in the poker room, my cellular download speed is 110 Mb/second.

Omg thanks so much for the response!! This helps so much!

Also thanks everybody else’s tips on how to table change.

I currently do not have a channel yet, as this will be my first trip to a series of live games. I planned on filming my own hole cards if it’s allowed.

I am half asian this fluent in Mandarin Chinese, debating if I should vlog in Mandarin Chinese or include sub for those viewers, as I noticed that could be a great market.

But thanks again everybody! Hopefully I’d get to see you guys at the tables!

Apparently you cannot play here without a players card. That means no cash games and not even able to get on a list unless you provide your info for the M life rewards.

I cannot understand why this policy would be in place. I have a players card but I know many people who choose not to have one for privacy reasons, etc

mod: Note that I think there is a 2+2 policy against linking blogs and vlogs unless they are hosted at 2+2. Please check with me or Lattimer before posting any future links to it and we'll see if we can track the policy down better. Thanks.

mod: I just deleted a bunch more argumentative bullshit about faceshields and morality and liability. Then a few posts trolling a poster asking a question. Then a few more with posters trolling each other.

I don't know what has gotten into the posters here, but if this annoying bullshit doesn't stop, I'll be handing out bans and exiles.

Thanks.

Thank you for your kindly reminder, I was not aware of that!

I will sure be look out for, have only joined 2 plus 2 yesterday thought I have been taking advantage of sites information for a long time.

I think there must be inboxes that I can private message those linkS to whom may be interested ( once it’s out of course ! )

What are the requirements to have M life rewards and players card?

I’m planning my first trip to MGM and just wondering if I would fit in the category to play even if I’m not MD / DC resident?

Thanks in advance to anyone who answers🙏🏻

You need to be 21 years or older, and you need proof of age.

I’m pretty sure that you can get an M life card without a drivers license.

Yeah what's the reason behind needing a players card? Seen it come up a few times since the re open.

I’m not trying to go off topic, or upset the mods...

I’m only going to point out that if a player were to test positive for COVID-19, it would help with contact tracing.

So I don't know specifically, but the few things I can come up with:
1. At table games, at Live specifically, they will "flat bet" players who don't have a players card. Effectively a way to deter card counters or "advantage" players, as they rarely play with players cards so that the Casino doesn't know who they are.
2. I would imagine at Poker, and throughout the casino, given the current circumstances, its effectively a "tracer". If they require it for every game you play, they effectively know where you are or have been.

So if they find out you test positive, they'll be able to isolate what tables/games you played and take precautions/steps as needed.

Generally speaking, I would avoid filming "hands". You (may) be able to get it away with filming your own cards (very discreetly) but filming table action or board cards is certainly going to get you noticed and potentially banned quickly. Your fellow table mates will likely be able to tell pretty quickly, and not only will they not want their faces on camera (which is the biggest issue), but they won't want their action on camera either.

Most of your poker Vloggers basically discreetly show their own hole cards, then film very little else. They just take notes and dictate the action after the fact.

Players card is not and has never been required for table games or slots

mod: I've just deleted a half dozen more posts arguing about faceshields and the science behind their use or misuse, and handed out a few 1 day bans.

I'm not sure how much plainer I can be. That stuff belongs in the coronavirus containment thread, not here.

If you post about it here, I will delete your message, and may ban you.

If you reply to someone else who has posted about it, I will delete your message, and may ban you.

Use the report post button instead if someone else's post on the topic has you riled up to the point you feel you need to lash out, and we will come have a look, and will probably delete the message.

For your convenience, here is a link to the containment thread: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...abber-1763796/

If you want to argue that this forum (and this thread) should have a different moderation policy with respect to CV (or anything else), please do so in the moderation thread here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...sting-1532632/

Thank you.

If there is a new policy that you need to be logged into a game with your M Life Card (though you should check with the poker room before assuming that to be true) it may be so that they can have an easier time of contact tracing someone who comes down with coronavirus. If that is the case it may just be temporary during the crisis.
