There was a time you had to tell the restaurant you're using poker comps too. I dont know if its still like this but I just say it every time.

You do have to tell them which restaurant. If you want somewhere in the marketplace you just tell them marketplace.

Don’t worry about it.

I’m sure that you missed two weeks of disappointment, hoping to win the jackpot, but never actually winning.

Thanks for that update! And thanks to everyone else who answered.

One last question ... how long are the comps good for before they expire?

If one year were to go by without you playing poker, you would lose your poker comps.

I've ONCE been able to get a Big bet mix going of NLH, PLO, and 2-7 SD. That's pretty much the only time I've seen PLO ran.

Honestly surprised 6-Card hasn’t caught on yet with the way people like to gamble here.

Can this casino seriously not afford to hire more than one person to work at the cage? Do you not want people to get chips or something?

How do you tell which table is which? I’ve only been here a couple times and I’m used to Live where there are placards on the ceiling. I was here one night this week and couldn’t figure it out the entire time I was there.

The row of tables close to the cage are 1 - 8 (1 being the first left, close to the cage). Second row 9 - 16. Third Row 17 - 28. Fourth (not including the tables on podium) 29 - 31 etc.,

Also you can check the table numbers next to the dealer.

3 course 'Restaurant week' meal special for $35 at Ginger isnt a bargain.
https://mgmnationalharbor.mgmresorts...inner-menu.pdf

it's half sized portions.
ie: you only get 1 chicken lettuce wrap

i found out when the waitress asked what flavor mochi ice cream i wanted.
i said it doesnt come in the 3 flavor assortment?!?
after talking to her a little more, she admitted items on the Restaurant Week menu isnt full sized portions.
i ordered from the regular menu instead.

Also, i noticed the Sea bass has increased $10 to $49. It was $39 last year.

the $55 3 course 'Restaurant week' meal special at the steakhouse is no bargain either.
look at all those up charges!

Are these two places one to one poker comps?

I've been to a number of different restaurants for Restaurant Week over the years. Their goal is never to give frequent customers a $100 meal for $35. Its to give *new* customers a sampling of their food in order to try and entice new customers to come back.

Depending on the restaurant though, you can always order off the regular menu.
