Hmnn, let me check. I only needed about 6,000 more credits for diamond...... nope, didn't get it.
But I do know at least one poker player who swears that he qualified for Diamond playing only poker... 10,000 tier credits @ 6.8/hour, I guess it can be done if you average 57 hours/week, every week for 26 weeks..... gives new meaning to the term "reg".

New term?
I see people out here play 70-80 hours a week in rooms with promotions for time, meaning they get paid if they play more and more hours, cash payment every week.

I checked into Fox Tower at midnight and was accommodated with the Manhattan Suite. I'm assuming due to a lack of availability?

yes that happens frequently

Yeah I love hearing “We’re out of the rooms you reserved. Would you like a comped suite?!”

No, you're thinking of the Villas at Pequot. Manhattan Suite is at Fox Tower and the one with the pool table.

I waa told by a patron 65+ hours per week will result in daily comped rooms. Any truth to this?

If you do it for 6 months, yes. See the recent post about 57 hrs/wk to get diamond. Diamonds get every day comped.

Traveling to Foxwoods for first time on Tuesday. How much is a room usually during the weekday versus nearby places? Do they have poker room rates? If not, nesrby decent/cheap hotel recommendations?

It looks like they're short on cheap rooms right now. Two trees has one for $169 if you want to stay on the property. Other wise I would look at Belisimo Grande (about 5 minutes away) or Cedar Park Inn (about 10 mintues away). Those are my go to beds for <$100.

Thanks for info. So, all lower tiers are allowed a max of 2 comped rooms per week?

Right, with the level of room offer mostly based on your average play and not your tier (i.e. a Gold can have better room offers than a Platinum).

Average per day or monthly average?

I believe this. I played there for the first time in a while the other day and I was recognizing players from years ago. I think some players literally live in the casino. Looking around many players looked sickly.

A guy at my table told me about a reg who apparently was playing up to 14 hours/day for months and developed a blood clot, which turned into a pulmonary embolism and almost died.

To the super-regs (and regs), stay safe, be balanced, and stay healthy.

Were comps reduced again? Used to get 60pts/week for checking into kiosks, now looks like 15...

I used to get 15 per week and now get 8

Summer months coming, they don't need your business cause they get the summer traffic, that's their exact mentality and I'm willing to bet on it

That may be true, but you may also be giving Foxwoods too much credit. I'm not sure that they have anything under control.

I just got an email from them apologizing for the floor service disruption on April 1-2 that I experienced. To make up for the disruption, they credited me 21pts, 84 tier credits, and $50 in slot play.

The only thing is I wasn't there on April 1-2...

What's that phrase? Bank error in your favor?

Did you check your account for the points and tier credits?

And I will give them credit, cause when I lived there plus multiples of us degenerates would ALL get most of our offers cut back during summer months. Especially since the Outlets opened
