Well, certainly part of it (and greatly regretted), but 2/5 was gaining ground on 1/2 even before we lost him. The real reason, IMO, is that there are simply more players who who prefer 2/5 PLO to 1/2. We had a brief flurry of 5/5 games, also, but at least for now, the largest group of players seem to want 2/5. We've been getting 2/5 games every day, often 2 tables and occasionally 3. Just the players voting with their $.

If I play in the $300 Mega Super and win a $2700 voucher, do it have to use it all on one tourney or can I split it into many buy ins? Does the voucher ever expire, if so when?

It's a direct voucher to a specific event.

Not lammergeier or credit.... Must use for that exact event, not transferable

How are the 1/2NL games on weekday afternoons/evenings compared to weekends in terms of softness/difficulty? I've only played at FW on weekends but will be coming during the week this week.

Not sure if anyone knows and I apologize if I'm dropping old information but when I was playing this past weekend I was told by a floor that as of the roll out of the new "rewards" program on 10/1/16 that all NL games no longer get 2pts per hour.

He informed me that all NL or (H) games are now getting a little less than 1.75 points per hour. It is basically a 15% drop in the amount of comps/points they are giving us. I'm not sure how this change affects limit or lower level games. I found it amusing that they are marketing this new campaign as a "faster" way to get comps and rewards when in reality they are giving poker players less. Sucks even more if you were a black card holder (which was eliminated with the new reward system) those guys went from making 4pts per hour on the last day of Sept to less than 1.75pts per hour on Oct 1.

Bottom line is it seems the poker players are falling further and further down the food chain at Foxwoods.

It's 1.70 from what I heard. That is 2.30/hr less for Black Card holders so assuming 100 hours a month (only an example some are more, some less) that is a 230 point loss however Platinum received $150 slot play which played properly can earn $140 in real cash. Considering the cash value of the 230 is 115 and the slot play is roughly 140 how is this so horrible for poker players? Asking for a friend

$140 of slot EV is worth a lot less to me than 140 points, because the variance is huge.

You're playing your slot play at the wrong games then.

The bottom line is for most players they are taking away 15% of what we were getting previously.

On the subject of slot play: First off the actual value of slot play is obvs less than the actual amount... Depending on what type of machine you play and what denomination you decide to play I'd have to say that the actual value is in the $135 range. Secondly: to get to the level where you get $150 in slot play you need to play over 700hrs per year of NL and more if you play limit... there are very very few players in that room that log over 700hrs/ year (I'd say less than 5%). If you don't play that many hours they give you even less, in fact the entry level card which is the card held by more than all the other cards combined gets ZERO free slot play, so for the majority of the players they are losing 15% and getting nothing back in return from other offers.

Also unless you ONLY use you're points to turn them into cash then your assessment of the actual value of points is flawed. I for one use them for rooms that aren't free (Saturdays), restaurants while I'm on property, Dunkin Donuts, Outlet shopping, bar tabs and other miscellaneous things. These are things that if I didn't have points I'd be digging into my pocket for cash so to me that makes a point worth a full dollar.

The bottom line is we are now getting less not more, how much less depends how you look at things and how you chose to use the points that you've earned.

Tried video poker with my $75 slot play today. I cashed out for $12.50. I guess that I am playing the wrong games also. Next month we try something other than video poker.

I got mine yesterday

If anyone is at least considering staying at all during the week between Christmas and New Years I recommend booking rooms now. Those promo rooms will dry up fast. You can always cancel later (just remember to).

They dry up fast because people take recommendations to book them even if they might not use them.

They should limit the number of penalty free cancelations allowed in year to squash this practice.

Might not make too much of a difference, since many people would have superfluous "penalty free cancellations" for the year by the last week of December

Odd...I noticed I didn't see any reward points listed for December. Does anyone else have this?

Too early for that. Rooms come out 2-3 weeks before the points/bsp/gifts/tickets/etc. It's been that way for years.

This is the first time this ever happened to me. I got free rooms for the first two weeks Sun-Fri, and then 29/49 rooms Sun-Thur the last 2 weeks.
