So I got shorted $100 on a tournament payout the other night. Called today, they "filed a complaint" and said I would receive a letter with either my money or notice saying they didn't find anything.

I'm basically SOL, right?

You mean over this past weekend? They were released prematurely (they're never out that early), plus the promo code didn't work. Someone must've hit the wrong button. People with free fri/sat got them back yesterday, which is the normal time in the month (14th-16th), so you should expect to see them at whatever the normal release date is for the rest of you (another week or so?).

Can we all agree that there are no definitive rules regarding receiving comp points, free rooms, gifts, etc.? If there are indeed rules then we'd all follow them and receive the appropriate benefits.

No. Offers are based on your ranking within the internal system. That ranking is based on a formula comprised of a variety of variables (total points, average points, offers utilized, geography, etc). How those variables are weighted and calculated is the big mystery, and they're never going to reveal that. The only things publicized are the tier card benefits and the total points required to earn them.

September point offers aren't out yet.

Did you just pick up this week's offer? There's an online glitch that occurs often - when you pick up your offer, your remaining offers for the month disappear for the rest of the day and sometimes next day.

A Foxwoods employee has confirmed for you that the offers we've utilized in the past is weighted in calculating our new offers? How does that work? If we utilize more we get more or the contrary?

It negatively affects your ranking. A person who doesn't use their room offers is going to be ranked higher than another person who does, all else being equal. And that makes sense - the person taking less is going to be worth more.

After checking with several people of varying ranks/tiers, it looks like everyone's weekly point offer is for Wednesdays only. I hope this isn't the new standard because it's ****ing bull****

I just checked my offers for September and they are all over the place..i USUALLY don't get slot tournaments, match plays, food vouchers etc. For September I have ALL OF THESE, plus a few more offers for Gift Cards and normal 15 pts. 2X a month...the wonder of it all

Yup everyone I've talked to has all of those scattered about... mostly all on weekdays of course

It looks like they are making different offers each day of the week. I have match play on Sunday and Monday, food comp on Tuesday, points on Wednsday, gas cards or Stop and Shop cards on thursdays and free bets on fridays. Maybe they're trying to test out what the different offers do for them?

Poker room is also offering the high hand promotions Mon-Wed. I guess they're on a weekday push or some such thing.

That's possible. Their CMO and COO both left earlier this year, so whoever is now in those roles could be trying out new things. But weekly points/bsp (being offered all week) has been a staple of this place for countless years. I can't believe they'd eliminate that.

To the player who wanted to know about the $60 9 am tourneys...
Starting chip stack is 6K. Or maybe it's 8K. Whatever.
It's a turbo. By the 4th level you're always thinking of pushing all in.
Competition is so-so, but since it's a turbo (15-min levels) anyone can win.
Tourneys get around 40 players. It lasts around 4 hours or so.
Good luck.
