I liked Pollo Loco, but they closed up shop 1 day after Foxwoods decided to jack up their rent.
The 28 day burger for $5 at David Burke's is quite good (Wed to Fri. noon to 4 PM)

Tue-Thu actually. Used to be Thu-Sat.

Best options are sitting at the bar in Burke (during the burger or lobster special), or Cedar's any other time.

If you're up for the trek to Fox Tower, Junior's has great matzo ball soup and excellent cheesecake.

From Noodles, I'd recommend the BBQ Pork or Bul Go Ki Deop Bap.

From the chain options, my goto is to get the chicken caesar salad and a soup from Panera. Pretty hard, but not impossible, for the staff to **** up. Pro-tip: save 15 minutes and call in your order from the poker room before going upstairs.

Breakfast at Veranda Cafe is perfectly acceptable.

Pizza from Regina is serviceable.

I cannot recommend anything else casual or quick service in this resort. It's always regrettable

High Rollers and California Pizza aren't bad either

Dont get me wrong - I eat there. It is ok at best. I just wish is was better/great.

I thought the fish and chips at Pequot Bay were good and beat the walk to fox tower. Fox Deli is just (like in every other casino) overpriced for mediocre as expected sandwiches. I havent tried the rueben though - may turn things around for me if it is good as suggested. Overall though I think foxwoods did a decent job of remodeling the food court area.

If we can dream, close up fudruckers and I would love to see a Jack in the Box.

I actually miss Burke in the Box, which closed years ago and was where they have that cigar bar now. They had great burgers and fries.

What has you fed up? I agree you'd figure that they'd be trying to lock down regular customers to try and retain a solid customer base.

What is it that people think foxwoods could do to lock down a customer? Obv everyone has an opinion about something that wasn't perfect, but what realistically do you expect? They are adding a mall. Whether you agree or not with that it is a pretty big move.

Frankly I think overall customer service could be better. Just in general I think the staff does what they to but rarely do I see as above/beyond service.

Food, gaming and hotel options pretty much offer something for everyone. None are necessarily A+ but they all get a passing grade. Entertainment I don't pay attn to so I can't comment.

Free rooms (during the week). More than enough reward points for free meals. I can't get anything close to that at MS (or anywhere else for that matter). No complaints.

The service at Juniors is appalling IMO. it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to order, receive, eat and pay in my 3-4 trips there...it just takes forever.

If ya make next level up on players club at MS you'll get 200 choice credits a month (that's 20 passes to get into lounges) and free rooms. And I think it's doable as you only have to earn 600 points in 6 months

Lounge is a bar area with a hot food line with few options that change daily. Free booze, free food.

I've never had a problem with the service there. I almost always eat at the bar. But there been times when I was not eating solo and grabbed a table still was good service.

The wife and I will probably never be more than a wild cardholder and yet she always gets free rooms! The usual Sun-Thurs. Enough to keep us happy. The past year we have spent a lot more time at the Sun! No free rooms! Call me a simpleton but....I'll stick with Foxwoods!

Only time we've stayed over at Mohegan Sun is when I've won the room playing online and scooping the main event on MSP!

You talking about the table area outside of Panera's? That's because it's used as a degenerate gambler hand out spot instead of being a place to sit down to eat & leave.

I'm not certain but pretty sure he's referring to the tables located over by the Pizzeria Regina - Fox Deli food court area

Where at MS is it? I'm the opposite, get no rooms at the Woods. Whats the ETO for the mall?
