We played 5/5 one night last week, I think it was on Wednesday. If the right people are there it's guarenteed to go. I'll be there this week Tues-Thurs, and the weekend. I will be down to play plo or plo8

New to 2+2

Do the SnG's ever run at Foxwoods? Also how are the weekend MTT's like the 60,100, and 160's? (entrants, places paid, etc)

Thanks

Donnie

Yup I got the same offers. Since I don't pay for rooms it now seems unlikely I will be down at the Woods until at least December. Did any poker-only players get free rooms?

Anyone know the satellite situation for their upcoming big $2500 tourney?

Also I played there a few weeks ago for the first time. And on my player page I have free room comps. Pretty sweet imo.

What's so special about Tuesdays?

Ok..haven't been to Foxwoods all summer. I think a few weeks before wsop in vegas was last time.

Heading there this weekend and decided to check my offers. For October I get 15 points if I swipe my card on Mondays. Another 15 points if it is swiped wed-Thur, and another 30 points if swiped fri-Sundays. Every separate offer comes with exact dates, but Tuesdays are noticeably omitted. Obviously 60 points available each week is great, just wondering what is so special about Tuesdays that it is the only day I can't swipe card? (And yes it's points not slot play)

Still have 2-free sun-Thur for entire month. Haven't received November offers yet.

That's strange. It should be Mon-Tue for that 15pt offer.

It was mon-tues for today's date, but all of October just Mon. Weird. I have no affinity for Tuesdays, just curious the logic behind.

The Manhattan Project scientists have been trying to break the code of who gets what and why!

Sit N Gos used to run all the time, and they were a fantastic way to make money.

Unfortunately a few years ago Foxwoods decided to create a new tournament poker area above the main cash table room, and the Sit N Gos kind of died in the process. Though, this is also due to the fact that they started running 5-6 MTTs every day which they weren't doing before.

I can't answer your question about weekend MTTs with specifics, but I know a lot of their tournies get over 100 entrants. They are well run.

Heading down tomorrow with Russian friend if all goes according to Hoyle. Hope to be there noon-ish. So that's 50% of the way to get the game called and cards in the air if we have a plo friendly floor that will call it. (lately they have been great in helping us get it going). So as Johnny Olson used to say on the price is right, "come on down"

Totally off topic, I need some help. RI is legal for medicinal MJ and I'm wondering if anyone knows of an easy on easy off 95 head shop for a simple glass pipe. TIA, and if you prefer send me info on PM

Man it would be awesome if they stopped running all those MTT's everyday. Just do 1 per day. Fields would be much deeper

Hi guys I have a question that I hope someone can answer. Below is an image of from a document that Foxwoods sent me regarding my play. If anyone understands what "turnover", "Rated By", and "Theo.win" means/is, that would really help me out. Thanks.

Just a wild guess that the "rated by" section is the employees badge number that swiped you in the system

Each row represents when they updated you in the system - either initial signin, rebuy, avg bet update.

Buyin - obvious
Avg bet - what they have you in for (note that when they update this it creates a new row)
Games - number of hands/spins/rolls/etc at that avg bet. This is derived by the avg hands/hr they assign to that game * time and is estimated
Turnover - your playthrough at that avg bet. Note that it is approximately avg bet * games, this is also estimated
Rated by - reference to a specific floorperson (badge number or other) that entered that data
Win(Loss) - your actual win/loss recorded by the floor (based on what you have in front of you when they update or what they assume you left with)
Theo win - this is what they were expected to win from you given the avg bet, time, house edge of that game (it is not signed because it's always positive in their direction) - i.e. their EV
Points - how many points you earned given those parameters. Note that it's always 20% of theo.

Thank you! Also curious to find out why when you buyin with chips instead of cash the buyin amounts are "0"?

If that's from table hopping it's because they were able to transfer you from your last table. So it's still the same session, in a way. Or it could be that they just want to track the cash so that they could reconcile a large cashout at the cage (CTR, SAR, etc). I'm just guessing though.

I sent you a PM btw.

One poster strongly recommends that Foxwoods have only one MTT per day in order to increase the size of the field. What time would that tourney start?
