Thats b/c all you play is 1/2. It's typically tolerable over there. 2/5, 5/10 area is intolerable most of the time. Last week I actually quit b/c I was sweating at the table and for those that don't know me, I am not a big guy. It takes a lot for me to just sit there and sweat.

Love playing short in 5-10,100bb when everyone else has 2000+ bc these pros think they can pay deep but are really spewing sometimes/playing too loose.

btw should not be talking like you're a big shot if your identity is to remain a mystery

Everybody knows me at Foxwoods and was just saying that 100bb-125 is good for me when the stacks are deep and don't mind playing tight and waiting for a hand to push.

Yeah I wound up playing PLO briefly, for like 4 orbits, then they called the 5/10 HORSE game. Not really sure what compelled me to play that, but it really was a horrid decision on my part. I spew so much when I play limit games. I think it was a little tilt too cause I decided it would be fun to bet into the nuts a couple times in PLO so I was hating life. haha

I'm playing so bad lately in all games for that matter. Really gotta get my **** back together before I turn into a giant spewtard.

I honestly think I can attribute most of it to the fact that I'm only playing once or twice a week now because I have a real job these days. Last summer when I played every day I was a lot more successful simply because I wasn't concerned with trying to make a week's worth of profit in one night. When you play every day you're happy to book small wins, but when you play once a week I think you have a tendency to chase the big win and lose sight of the fact that it's a grind. Or at least that's my view of it anyway.

2/5s were amazing last night me and jpsychlady had this guy at our table who kept rebuying, he musta gone through 7-10 buyins by the time i left.

My game was awesome! There was an older asian guy who had $2500 in front of him when I sat down and left busto. I saw him fold 1 time preflop. Amazingly, I had KK against him on a Q high, no flush board, non paired board and only lost $125 to his flopped set of 9s.
Then there was the guy who is the epitome of every bad poker player cliche. If I recorded him for the 3 hours that he was there, I could fill an entire thread of "stupid **** you hear at a poker table"
I didnt get much in the way of cards and my KK, QQ and JJ all got cracked. But good luck and hopefully karma were on my side when I was down to $235 and in the bb. UTG+1 raises to $25, utg+2 calls, old asian calls, I look down at AA and pop it to $100 and they all call! Flop 1084 with 2 clubs. I ship and THEY ALL CALL! I am 75% convinced that I am done at this point and when the J hits the turn and every shoves, I am convinced(as was the rest of the table) The river was even more damaging as the third club fell. But then NO ONE flipped their hands! So I flip my AA, Crazy guy flips Ad4d, utg+2 shows 89off and asian mucks!
So YAY! I quadruple up

IWSJ, o0ch, lattimer, anymouse, cup o Joe. Half of us at the same table. Yes we are that stupid

How did you enjot the plo high game?

Going tomorrow early, hope to get the plo high (or plo8) going early. The more regular we get the game going the more people with dip thier toes in to try the game.

Hopefully enough to get more than 1 game going on a daily basis. Truely the game of the future.

The PLO game, when it runs has been pretty solid, and the stacks are usually pretty deep as well. Decent game. Plays pretty passively pre-flop, can see most flops for $2 (or usually $4) with the straddle. Pots build pretty quickly post though, as you would expect in a PLO game. Pretty sure the passivity comes from the fact that it's a 10 handed table. I'm sure there'd be more pre-flop action at a 6 handed table.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DISCUSSING STRATEGY AT THE TABLES, IT IS TERRIBLE FOR THE GAMES. IT IS INTIMIDATING FOR RECREATIONAL PLAYERS WHEN YOU ARE LOUDLY DISCUSSING RANGE MERGING, AND 3 BARRELING, AND VALUE BLUFFING, AND BET FOLDING RIVERS AND BLABLABLABLA. IT IS AMAZING TO ME THAT YOU PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND THIS.
