Played the 240 bounty last night. Pretty weak field in general. First one I've played. I've also discovered a lot of weak older men do not like being bullied around. Which I used to my advantage until it back fired. I had this Guy so set up for a big pot. I pick up aq out the gate.....blinds 600 1200 I raise to 3k. Standard for me....my stack about 30k his about 26k. He calls in hj. Folds around. BTW he's been calling me anything. And leading every flop against me if I check.

Flop comes q 7 4 rainbow. I check he bets 6k. Bingooo. I raise all in. He insta calls with k 10 off suite. I'm like okkkk LOL. River comes k. "Nice call buddy" I thought you were buying the pot. LOL. Yes your king high is Def a bluff catcher.

O well.liked the tourney though was almost free rolling I took out 3 so was 150. First was 3700 had about 74 runners.

i was checking out the website and I guess they now have a stud BBJ, not sure if it has been mentioned here before, not sure of the stakes.

I think that is why they initially gave out the free rooms to people.

I played BJ there 2 times about 2 years ago. I won like 5k and 7k. They then gave me lounge access , free shows and free rooms.

I think they were hurting so bad for business they figured giving away rooms was +ev for overall business which was probably true.

Well anyways I used all the show tickets , free rooms, and lounge access every time I went down for about 1.5-2 years or so. They cut me off either late last year or early this year .

They have some new system where you have to play x amount to get whatever level whether it be gold , platinum , diamond etc and if you dont maintain enough play for a certain amount of time they will make you just a reg dream card member and you wont get the rooms.

But then again I know a lady that has been there twice and only played slots and they keep sending her free rooms etc.

If they know you are a degen they will send you stuff I think as well to get you in there because business has slowed down a ton over the years.

If you go there a lot and have a long ride and you would prefer staying in their hotels it may be worth your while to jam 5 or 600 in slots and they may start sending you free rooms etc. and you can use them 2 nights a week. They may not send jack **** as well but maybe worth a try and you may win too

They start a new promotion today. On Mondays and Wednesdays, if you flop quads, you get $250 cash. Applies to Holdem and Omaha, cash and tournaments. No pocket pair restriciton.

Also, Saturday night was packed, busiest I've seen it in a while. 1/2 had 50-60 on list most of the night, which was about a 45 min wait. 2/5 had 40-ish, which I imagine took forever because they only had 5 tables. They were also short dealers that night, several empty tables. There were 30 names on the 1/2 PLO interest list, which took several hours before it finally got going. Some regs waited it out the entire time and were pretty pissed.

1/2 plo high will NOT run at foxwoods ever (in my experience)

Last time I was trying to get 1/2 plo high going the floor said that if I could get 9 people to play then he would start a game for me.

I tipped the announcer a red bird or two to call out 1/2plo high every 10 minutes or so, and once the list had 9 people ready to play the floor man says he doesn't have any available dealers... wtf?

I also got hooked up with the Weezer tickets, Cirque, and of course they are starting the $250 Mon./Wed. Quads thing...but I want rooms back. Just one a week or even every other would be nice.

Stayed at Two Trees for the first time in a while and had to pay points for it. I miss MGM and summer pool time.
