Bed bugs? I've stayed there about 15 nights so far this year and this is the first I've heard of this.

Where do you get your info.

My wife got a letter today from Foxwoods detailing how her older accrued points would expire by the end of June. The wording of the letter made it sound like they were doing you a ****ing favor. There is a definite disconnect in their customer service. My wife goes much more often that me, and there is no way humanly possible she can use all of the at-risk points. Unless she quits her job or something.

How does play at BlackJack or other table games get assessed points? There seems to be (albeit loose) system for poker - just wondering if the same was true of traditional table games.

There are many ways to spend the at risk points, and it is humanly possible.
Many expense items for sale at Foxwoods. Buy them
In multiple numbers and sell them
On ebay. Easy game.

Heh of course I just go to check free rooms for tmrw and the only thing left is 40$ for Two Tree's. By any chance has anyone reserved a free room and isn't staying tmrw? Or is there some sort of promo code so at least staying at MGM/Pequot/Cedars wouldn't be full price?

Does anyone know if two poker points earned on 4/8 quilifies for the golf umbrella?

Finally something I could use, besides a ball retriever, or some mulligans

Poker points don't count.

And yes cashing out points is 2 for 1.

What a long week down the woods for the FPC...0 for trophy events, -2400 playing 2/5, but yet somehow i profit... thank god for the daily/nightly tournaments. I final tabled 3 in a row(Saturday-Monday) with a 3500 profit..The first one I FT'd I was entrant 224/224...They let me register halfway thru level 5 and within an orbit I had 48k and just built castles the whole time AK<KQ on KJ10Ax run out for 7th...
The 2nd one I FT'd I saw the best thing I've ever seen playing tournaments in my life.. On the money bubble I open AA to 31.5K(w/180K to start) @ 6-12K, which is much larger than my usual standard 2.2-2.5x open,Old man on my immediate left flats with 150k to start , folds to the aggressive BB who's BB i had been only raising with big hands flats...flop comes 652r, BB checks i shove old man snap calls, BB folds. he shows down AQo LOLOLOL, end up getting 6th when I open the button with 107o and it comes K107r, he has K10 gg....
The 3rd one i FT i won outright after I lost a $1500 pot with KK against A2o all in pre at 2/5..I was in the game for $1400 and was going to rack up after the hand, but can't beat the dolts that play @ Foxwoods...i started talking to myself, walked around for 20 minutes and regged the tourney. Played really well and picked up my first outright win in awhile. Was good to see the usual 2+2/Foxwoods regs, see you guys next month for the Megastacks!!

Poker points have been counting towards the freebies that I have been getting. The dunkin coffee gift and the $25 BSP on Wednesdays

The umbrella specifically said points from poker keno racebook and bingo don't count. It says right on the mailer.

Good JOB!

Yes, the last few weeks have been great. I haven't had this kind of hourly since I lived in Vegas. Games have been great.

I retract this statement. I looked at the April mailer last night and it didn't specify this for the umbrella gift. I was thinking of the double point day in March. So to answer the original question...

DON'T believe the "SPECIAL" offers they send you......... received email, and it shows in my room offers $129 Saturday Night this weekend, (because of reduced holiday crowd), BUT when I log into my account and don't use special discount code it shows my Saturday room rate at $89.
HAHAHAHA

Silly Foxwoods

Yeah the rooms are super cheap this weekend. Does Easter really have that effect on the crowds?

I was just coming in here to ask how busy or not the poker room would be this weekend....

Tough call. The tournament hangover would normally slow it down, and the Bad Beat being nearly $400k would normally pick it up. Then there's the holiday. No ****ing idea.

I played Monday 11 am and it got 40 runners. They paid 6 spots and 1st was $1358. It was great because all the bad players went out from 200-400 to 500-1000 so the final table was all deepstack poker. I had 100 BB's 8 handed when they were talking chop...I refused.

New line added to the ripoff "resort fee" scam

RESORT FEE:
Exclusive of the rates shown, you may be charged a Resort Fee at check out. Amenities included are: Access to the fitness center and pool area, two bottles of water, in-room coffee & tea, newspaper upon request, unlimited local calling, 24 hour property wide on-site transportation and high speed wireless internet access in the hotel room.

So now the hotel guests who pay have to pay for the transportation system too????
They keep trying to make the "resort fee" sound legit

SAD, SAD, SAD Foxwoods, Mass Casinos hurry up please
