The update page is there for a reason and if it's not functioning properly it is completely useless. I'm only helping everyone who uses the page by pointing out its shortcomings so that whoever runs the updates can improve it. Too many times I've seen a game being listed as running, only to call and be told that it actually isn't running. I don't expect the games to be running 8.5 hours later but 1 minute later? Give me a break.

The game report you're looking at isn't "real time". The one up now clearly says "as of 8:30pm". so you can look now....count to 60...then call and a game you see may not be running.....again, cause the report is from 2 hours ago. I think a new one is up at 11:30

You seem to have a grasp on the whole "I have a phone...lemme give them a call" thing so to be safe, just give them a ring.

Why are you all so dense? If a game is listed as running as of 8:30, say, but yet I call at 8:31 and they say the game is already broken, doesn't that indicate a problem somewhere?

^^^^^ no dude it doesn't, no other poker room even offers this update service period let alone at the rate that the Borgata does(about 3-4 times a day) plus stan's puts his own random updates on here. So for now this is a nice step in improving the technology which rooms use to communicate with their customers.


It's not an RSS data feed but it certainly gives you a feel of what the action is like in the AM, PM, and late night on any given day.....so yes, it would be soooo totally sweet if they had an RSS feed giving up to the second updates but my guess is the poker room software doesn't have the capability to automatically sync to the website via an internet connection. Thus someone has to manually code this update 3 times a day. which is a pain in the A** but the effort is there. So take it for what it is and dont be so negative about it. why is it so hard for you to call the room if you are that concerned about it?

just don't look at the online updates then, and just call them. Why blow a gasket over something so trivial?

If people didn't blow gaskets over things so trivial it would probably kill traffic on 2+2 by like 50%, imo. People just always want something to complain about.
