Thanks for any suggestions.
Call the poker room at 609.317.8257 and as for the host. Not sure if i am allowed to mention her name on 2 + 2.

Thanks Stan. Unfortunately, I think that Stewart is a headliner (poker room apparently doesn't get access to those), but appreciate the efforts of your staff - as usual. See you soon at the tables. Looking forward to the added spillover from the WSOP series at Caesar's.

Check out the "tournment circuit" forum. Tab has posted the main event schedule. We are still working on the secondary events. Should be close to 52events in all.

Guys,

I'm making my first trip to a casino soon, just curious as to how the whole "comp" thing works when playing poker. do you get comped for playing poker at borgata? or do you have to play slots/bjack and other junk in order to get pts on that rewards card. thanks.

Swipe in with your My Borgata card and you get $1/hour for most raked games and $2/hr for anything 2/5 and above. There are exceptions, but I don't think you need to worry about those. The other AC rooms work pretty much the same way.

Swipe out and then you can use those points like a credit card. Other rooms might require you trade in points for a voucher.

Too many times now the live games page is not updated; I go over to play a listed game and inevitably the game has already broken, sometimes hours before. I'm not sure where the responsibility lies, if it's a technical glitch or whatever, but something has to be done to make it more real-time.

Do you happen to own a functioning telephone?

I think the poster's point was that:
I happen to enjoy the convenience of being able to view the live game report online and would like to report that there seems to be a (possible) problem with its accuracy.
Not:
Duh..the interwebs is broke and I need to know how else to find what games are running.

On an unrelated note... is there some "you have to know Stan" to check room rate availability by PM? I am 0 for 2 on requests. I have a black card, play a good amount of VP, and have stayed in a room about 20 nights in the past six months, on top of contributing tens of thousands in rake/time to "Mr. Borgata," so I'm starting to wonder if there's something just wrong or blacklisted about me. It's not a big deal because I do happen to own a functioning phone, but other people seem to have no problems. I'll go say hi to Stan if that's what it takes. Just curious.

get a hold of yourself. the updates were never meant to be continuous live feeds. they are posted strategically several times per day at specified times. who else does that? nobody! if i am heading down to play at 11 am, and look at the game report from last nite at 2:30 am, i dont necessarily think the same games will be available to me. as a matter of fact, if i check the game report at 2:30pm and it says a particular game is going, and i get there by 3:30pm, i understand that game may or may not still be going. who's fault is that? nobody's. sometimes game start short, full up over time, and last a long time. sometimes games start full, and die off quickly, that happens both live and online. be grateful for the support/customer service that Stan has implemented in the room after getting feedback from players in this forum or in the room itself.

I'm the last person to give someone a hard time for having some fun but this sounds like a call to the desk to me.

This may have been brought up before. I just ran across it. At any rate, MGM is selling its 50% stake in the Borgata.

Hello, I am looking to visit AC March 12-14th for Spring Break(I live in Minnesota). I called Customer Service and they provided me the rates of $179 for Friday the 12th and $339 for Saturday the 13th. I plan on playing poker mainly and possibly some table games. Any ideas on how I can manage to get Saturday a little cheaper? I assume there is no way that they are booked and are just going to charge that much because they are the premium hotel in AC.

Guy is sad because he likes the new casinos, while he sits in an old one. Good job.

Anyway, didn't they have some trouble a little while back that like, somebody way up in mgm had a sister that was married to a guy that was doing business with some chinese mafia or something? Maybe that has something to do with why they are selling?

Hammy,

I know, i seriously tolerated it as long as I could but Mrs. PardoG happened to be with me for the last night of the stay and she was having none of it so we had to make the call.....trust me, I usually could care less but this was sooooo loud and obnxious, after a logging 30-40 hours for the weekend I just needed to get some sleep...funny, this actually never happened to me before, even on a saturday, maybe cause I'm usually playing til 4am then hitting fatburger.

The nights before me and my two boys who I brought down to introduce them to the room didn't hear a peep all night.
