I agree. It took a minute for the guy to find the pink chips when I went to buy them and then it took a few minutes for the lady to count them up correctly when I cashed out. It took longer than it would have had they been red and white chips, but I'm sure this will speed up as they see more and more of the pink chips come through.

I played the pink chip game on Friday night. Very well run, had no problem getting pink chips from the cashier. There was one spot open on the table, so I was able to sit at a full table immediately.

From what I saw, the game seemed very soft. Some pre-flop raising, but tons of cold calls and a lot of marginal hands. There appeared to be a couple of strong players, but mostly it seemed like folks wanting to play a little higher than 3/6 but not 10/20.

That said, I did manage to lose $450 in about three hours. I think I played four hands past the flop, but got beat every time in very large pots. Actually, I managed to win one hand with AA. But that was it.

I think noone should be able to eat in the poker room. It leaves a disgusting mess. Players can take the time to run down to the food court and grab something to eat, they do get three buttons before there chips are picked up and they can time it correctly.

I was at the Borgata this past saturday from around noon - 8 pm. Played a sit-n-go for the first time and thought the dealers did a great job and really enjoyed playing, especially considering how soft my table was.

Also was told not to eat at my 2-5 nl table. I took my salad into the high limit room and a floor person pointed me to where the rolling carts and some empty chairs were. All things considered, I think most people who eat at the lower stakes table slow down the game to an excruciatingly slow pace. Like this rule and you know the rest of the AC card rooms will follow suit soon enough, haha.

Also got to meet Stan. I was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts and had on my glasses. We spoke for a good 10 minutes about the future of PLO and the pink chip game. We also spoke about why it is hard to get mixed games going. After coming to the realization that Stan replies to almost every question posted here, answers thousands upon thousands of PM's, posts live table reports and , oh yea, runs the Borgata poker room, I have a lot of respect for how hard this guy works for the love of the game. I felt hesitant to approach him, but I am very glad I did. I learned a lot in just 10 minutes of speaking with him.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the dedication. Can't wait for my next trip down.

Met Stan this weekend.

He is awesome. Also, do not **** with Stan as he could kick your ass with very little effort I am sure.

Quite possibly one of the hardest working people I have ever seen.

Oh yeah just a reminder to some people, the first rule of two plus two is DONT TALK ABOUT TWO PLUS TWO. And that goes double for strategy.

Jesus. I just don't want to hear you go on and on about your poker tracker results while I'm playing.

This. Please let me know if there are plans to keep this going.

Plus, hypothetical came up at the tables this weekend. A player gets dealt in a hand, folds and leaves the table for whatever reason (bathroom, smoke etc). If the bad beat is hit, does he get a cut? I'm assuming so, correct? What if he's dealt in, folds and picks up his chips to leave the game? These are the stupid things I ponder...

I have read the BBJP rule pamphlet extensively.

In your scenario 1: He gets a player's share as long as was dealt in and he didn't pick up his chips.
Scenario 2: He gets nothing. So... don't pick up your chips till the end of the hand.

Also there is a more common scenario that has actually happened: Player misses a hand in the bathroom and it hits. He comes back and can make a compelling argument that if he had been dealt it, it would have never happened. In at least one case at the Borgata, I know for sure the table cut him a player's share.

if you are dealt into the hand, you are eligible for a piece of the pie. it does not matter if you folded and sat there, or folded and walked to smoke. the rules dont say you must have *watched* the hand play out, they state that you have to have been *dealt into the hand*.

i mean, unless these rules vary from casino to casino...

Tell your buddies that like these game to come to the Borgata so that we can get moving on it sooner. DON'T GIVE UP ON THE MIX GAMES, IT WILL HAPPEN.

Can't wait to see what mix games are coming. Although I did enjoy playing the 4/8 HOSE game.

Okay...so....for the benefit of the vacation atm's coming into town tomorrow (hi, that's me, I suck...), a few stupid questions...

Is 7.5/15 the lowest limit O8 game I'm likely to see in town? I like the game, but that number has the potential to squeeze my bankroll (I gotta make it 3 1/2 days on $1K..and again...I suck...I'm trying...but I am not a winning cash game player, and I know it). The only other regularly spread O8 game I've heard about is the 2/4 at the Taj...and I sat that once...you'll note I'm not anxious to go back...

Assuming I decide to man up and take a shot (meh, it's only money...), round about when does the game usually get running?

Is there a bridge game between the 3-6 LHE and the 7.5/15 LHE available, just never spread because of lack of interest? Something in the 4-8 or 5-10 range?

Finally, I have a red card I signed up for but never used back...geez...3 years ago now...is it still good to go, or am I going to need to get a new one?

Is the 7.50/15 a kill of any sort (to 10/20?). What's the kill requirement?

The lowest in which you won't slowly lose the will to live, for sure.
