3/5 is still really soft. Would really be bummed to see the buy in change.

Tournament grinder, but I also play all the low limit cash games and the 2-3 spread...haven't played the 20-40 lhe or the 3-5spread at CAZ yet, but they are on my radar when my bankroll is rebuilt!!

My thought initially but may be a premature obituary - it's actually easier to find the thread now IMO.

Did you not see the post that asked what stakes everyone plays? Or are you using threaded mode (lolthreaded)

Not everyone is as full of themselves as you are.

Most poker players are very full of themselves. Including myself of course, but I try to balance it a little with self-deprecating humor (that nobody laughs at, oh well).

Hey, if you don't believe in yourself and your game... who will?

Spin the wheel has been replaced by football pools.

So no more BBJ drop then? If we could only eliminate tipping of dealers too like online, would really improve profitability (or reduce lossability, in my case). Butnah.

I think I did "football pools" once at CAZ... but I have no recollection of how it works. If it eliminates BBJ drop tho, that's all that matters. Friggin stupid idiots with their stupid idiot promotions.

football pool and all promotions/ tourneys funded by BBJ drop, so it's still there. Last year they had it it $2 per hand during summer to build the fund, then switched back to $1 in fall. I have no idea on what they are dropping now.

The other nightmare is that with 9 handed tables, the game gets short often. And it's a big bother to get it dropped. But y'all knew that.

And that has caused the BBJ fund to grow from ~$500,000 to over $800,000.

In other news:

A Hampton Inn and Suites is being built directly across from the hotel. I can only suppose that means one thing: The tribe wants visitors to have a cheaper alternative to the hotel which also means the hotel is doing very well.

Sickening, it's not like the "poker economy" needs that 800K or anything.

Yeah, I know... it comes right back to the players at some point. Meh.

Building another hotel is a good sign for the casino and I guess for the poker room too.

I believe they build up the promo fund really high and then it will get low again due to the football promos and then the eventual switch to $1/drop. At that point they'll raise the drop back to $2 and it will go up again.

I don't think they will ever reduce the BBJ drop.
