Who are the fun players that get the big Omaha Hi game going? Considering sitting down with a couple $500 bullets.

Just sit down and play a round or two, if it's good action stay if it's bad leave. If you are waiting for certain people to pay you are unlikely to get a seat anyways

I'm still seeing spots from staring at neon table felt for 3 hours.

I'm hoping that they didn't pick that awful color to match the new carpeting that's supposed to be coming.

Is that so terrible a color? Maybe it doesn't translate well in the picture, but it doesn't look much different than typical green felt to me.

I like it. Chips won't blend in as much.

I like the green much better than that ugly beige that was there before.

It's an earth toned casino, or at least it was until the Vegas trained manager decided we needed cream chairs and cartoon green felt.

So with the Bravo system now, are the hours tracked by swiping in and out at the sign in kiosks (same as before) or is it tracked at the actual table you play at by the dealer?

At the table by the dealer, you hand them your players card when you sit down and they log you in, you do not need to "continue" at Kiosks at any point, when you leave you get logged out.

That is in some ways bad for player I think - as I understand it with the old system it logged you in when you signed in at the kiosk, so if it took 45 minutes to get a seat (which happened more than once when waiting for a 3-5/5-10 spread game for me) you accrued "comp" time while waiting.

But assuming that's valid I'll still gladly give up the 1 or 2 bucks in exchange for seeing what games are running (or look like they will run) before making the drive.

And I routinely forgot to log out, so definitely better for me.

I wish he would change something important like tournament structures but he has had a couple years now and has not changed anything.

My sources tell me that the manager didn't pick the color for the new felts. I'm getting used to them but I'm not looking forward to the new carpeting.
