Rest is very important. The brain can't process what you learn if you're learning something else without having previously processed the first thing. That's when you ask, is it better to know one thing really well or 2 things without a full understanding.

Good few days. Didn't quite get 24 hour break in but was close . Had great night out with wife (fantastic food, few beers!) and some quality time with kids.

Good days!

It really did not sit comfortably with me when my coach (Ilidek) said we are going to take some time off study and just grind but the more time that passes (8 days now) the more comfortable I have got and the more impressed I have become with his decision! Results orientated?

Day 151

Good days. Feels like I played solid.

Had one fish that ran hot and another guy that I thought was a fish because he was donking tonnes but he seemed to balance it well and was hard to beat. Think I lost 1.5bi to him but he won the big pots that was all. The fish that ran hot had limp statistic 100% and call OOP stat 100% but I paid him off twice when I was value betting hard Kx on Kxx and he turned over AA both times . He was up a buy-in to me but I gradually got it back when I made some hands. Funniest was when I got AA in BB and was rubbing my hands and he folded his SB!!! With 100% limp after 200 hands or so I was fuming

Dreading Friday 13th. Never bothered me before but last one was a disaster a month ago! The other day I saw the guy from work who almost chopped his arm off last month. He seemed in really good spirits but he is still waiting to hear if he will get movement back in that hand.

Also the mum of a girl in my 6 year old daughters class died this week of cancer only aged 37. She was friend of my wife too. The atmosphere is pretty low on our estate at the moment. Interesting how the little girl is handling it though. Better than everyone else it seems. Sucks eh.

Crikey. I never been so negative before!!! I am going out on the sauce tomorrow with my best mate so could be missing in action for 24 hours . Also I am going to crush some fish tonight so SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!

I knew Friday 13th was gonna be bad for me at the tables!!! I made couple of bad calls for stacks which was the tilt where you just cannot believe the fish can have it on the occasion you have been waiting 200 hands for! Terrible by me really but hopefully will learn from it. I did make good/big fold last night in similar circumstance so hopefully it will sink in.

Work on table selection, basics, folding big hands!

Pants coupla days results wise but think I played quite well. Ran into a few coolers and kinda feels like only losing 2 buy-ins was a success!

Got back into HH's and analysing some hands yesterday but got a bit carried away and overdid it. Got brain ache now

Great coaching with Ilidek last night. Learned a lot about playing a guy who was super exploitable (yh I did not know this before the coaching) and then how to adapt when he tilts and goes aggro. Unfortunately he out-flushed me and ran off!

Stars, Party and FTP are rubbish and don't get so much action there (especially when table selection is good). Ipoker I got something like 60%.

Great days!!!

Really happy to show a profit these last few days because I ran into some wicked bad beats and coolers but kept my head and managed to play what I think is decent poker and got a couple of coolers came back my way. Bad beats were kinda sick as I had two guys super tilted and could have made big bucks off them. That's the breaks though, all part of the fun. Just happy I kept good mentally and played decent game.

Had good few hours off on Sunday and spent great time with family.

Starting to feel a lot more confident in my basic skills. Just praying I can kick on and keep working well.

Great days!!!

Nice little heater going on here at last! Could have been better too so am overall very happy. Really feel like I played well and exploited some fish HARD.

Don't want to get carried away but really hoping to kick on from here and start beating NL50.

Had fantastic coaching with Ilidek and feedback from him on my current thought processes was extremely encouraging at last!!!!

Big fan of Gordon and BPC... Always liked HU but never could get action (used to play at 0400 UK its ITT somewhere)... Got on BPC coaching for profits at 6max... Fooz was coaching me but could not take the heat and left... Was space @ HU... Fate

Good days! Got lots of hours in, played decent and results meh! Had 2 losing days on the back of 6 winning days so feels worse than it really is.

Faced a couple of those river raises where you are like "well they only have the nuts but I gotta call something" so I called like set on board with possible but unlikely straight on and yh of course they have it! Think my calls were both ok btw.

Lost my way a couple of times facing a donk bet which is pretty bad as i worked hard on this. Obviously its not ingrained into my thick skull enough.

Strange couple of days. Did not run too good but avoided stop loss and kept losses pretty low considering so not too unhappy.

Forum work good and did get more action at tables then I expect in early week. Happy overall.
