The word is allowed. Deal with it. If you don't like being corrected, write it right the first time and keep your angry attitude in your own thread.

I like a turn check raise with QQ there for a number of reasons. First of all villain is very likely to have turned a bunch of equity despite us crushing the board. He has all the nut flush and sd+fd hands in his range (JT, J9, (J8), AK, AJ, AT, KT, KJ, possibly T9 and T8) which actually turns out te be a decent number of Combes as well as the fact that we ate fairly likely to get the call from KK+ and stacks a nonnegligable percentage of the time on the river because we very well could be looked up given he probably thinks weplay T9s AJss AQ hh this way and nits don't fold much.

I think however we should consider check raising river? I think it's unlikely villains true range is 10% in the cutoff and he has a decent number of missed draws in his range too.

Say if we jam all busto draws fold, and KK+ calls 8/12 combos and J9ss (we win 8 stacks get 12-14 folds from 8-10 busted draws and 4 combos of KK+ and lose one stack to J9ss).

while if we check he has those very same 8-10 busto hands to bluff with as well as 12 combos of KK+ having the chance to value cut itself or thinking he can induce a bluff or thin call as well as J9ss for nuts? so 18-20 potential combos to put in money potentially losing and still only one we lose to.. KK+ might go for thin value thining we are slowng down to xcall AQ or T9 while KK+ could thinkhe can get thin value then level itself. (also if he has a set himself he s jamming that anyway)

i think as played a jam is very fine tho cuz i think if he calls half pot he calls jam enough to make both at least evenly good in ev so might as well.

thoughts?

blakkman,

i think betting smaller is better than c/r'ing mainly bcos a 16/12 isnt going to bluff enough/bet thin enough

also, the amount of typos/spelling mistakes/grammatical errors in ur post is gnna make OP flip.

my first two languages are russian and german. i think i m allowed to make typos (dance)

if he never does bluff if we check then sure we should bet. still think a jam is better tho. if he calls our jam with 6/12 combos thats $45+ 0.5*$38 = $64 in EV while if he calls a $19 bet all the time thats also $45+$19= $64. however there s always room for him to call more than 50% otrto a jam and the chance of him folding to even the smaller bet some of the time. so i think the EV of a jam is better (disregarding the fact we lose to J9 once in both scenarios)

I think this is pretty spot on except the c/r river part, I feel like on this board after a turn c/r which bloats the pot, most players at lower stakes are afraid to bet without the nuts and will prefer giving up actually. If I sized my c/r smaller it would give him a better price on his bluff with missed draws and then maybe I'd consider it. I like his choices being calling with a marginal hand or folding rather than his choices being folding or betting.

All these hands have a reasoning behind them, mostly against hyper aggro 3bettors, people who love to float and people who are very unbalanced in some part of their game. (Also I was having fun with 19.99$ today against some regs, value betting and bluffing). Hopefully I'm making playing against me as ****ty as possible. I'll post here if I ever reach 500NL zoom or something.

Forgot to post my daily graph at least. Almost done with 10k hands at 50NL (75%). Have played a B- game overall during all these hands but I'm having a pretty tough go EV wise and being set up wise. Had a big down day (7.5 buy ins at the worst) then ran it back up to 60bb down and hit KK against AA 170bb deep to put me further down and then AKo>AKs which also sucked.

I'm still up at 50NL but not as much as I had hoped obviously. First stake I'm running bad at and it's definitely affected my play a bit, got my **** together though and I'm moving on.

My sexy overall graph is ruined, ruined I tells ya! Green circled is where my bluffs started being spew instead of thought out, guess you can't just randomly raise people and expect results.

Sexyiness savers

Gutted. Really enjoyed reading your thought processes. Not so much the redline stuff but the detail when you value bet too.

Nvm, good luck OP, look forward to seeing you progress. WP so far.

Really appreciate it. I have midterms coming up the next two weeks but after that I have a week off and I'll grind a ton and update more.

Edit : plus with the Android app I get notifications all the time from my subscribed threads (17 of them?). Which is horrible for concentration.

This one has more thought put into it. SB is a pretty good aggro reg (133 hands) 28/25/4 AF/ 8 3b with 17% against btn and 22% sb in general. Usually I would have chose between 4betting and calling, leaning towards calling. But BB (unknown) came along for the ride and he had sb covered for 200BB+. When BB checks I go for a pretty easy bet IMO. Sb has 44% regular cbet, 25% against me in 3b pots. When he check raises this big (he has 20% c/r flop and 33% in 3B pots (3 times) I'm thinking he can have air and draws, I think he cbets his real hands and also really wanted to know what BB had so decided to check and maybe hit his flush for free or get to c/r instead of relying on others and fold equity. Everything about it felt off so I shipped and got snapped of by AJs

2 folds, CO raises to $2, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) T 8 Q (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $2.50, Hero raises to $7, CO raises to $20.64 all in, Hero calls $13.64

Turn: ($45.53) K (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($45.53) 2 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Final Pot: $45.53
Hero shows K Q (two pair, Kings and Queens)
CO shows Q A (a pair of Queens)
Hero wins $43.48
(Rake: $2.05)
CO is a fish playing 39/24 with 7% 3bet. I don't wan't to 3bet him as I don't like calling his shove and he would most likely defend tons of crap which would put me in bad spots having to cbet and call it off with little equity or c/f. So I end up defending instead. On this board after I c/r I think I'm never complicating things against fish this shallow stacked so I decide to call his shove which does seem pretty strong in the moment. Flush draws, AQ KQ J9 etc, he shipped a bit fast to have many 88 or TT imo, usually I sense a timing tell on this type of board when players decide to shove their sets.

Almost at EV for 50NL now.

Overall new peak (bankroll at 1300$)

I'm glad since yesterday I played pretty badly for the most part and usually that used to stay with me for a week sometimes and make me play bad. I started today fresh like nothing ever happened.

I also have this hand in which I was just a bit lost. Raise turn? Don't think raise flop sounds good tbh.. What do you think?

What do you think overall? Fold river I guess, the board pairing gave me bit of hope thinking he might do this with 10s or JJ but I think that's a stupid presumption to make.

QThh: just jam river. absolutely dont see any point in not jamming. rest wp.

88: pretty sick jam but i actually like it. however i m not too sure about your flop bet sizing as BB will have overcalled with plenty of bigger pairs so imo bet smaller ($6.5) get the same results (spazz) from sb and loseless when BB has it

KQdd: big spew to checkraise here if thats your default play with this hand on this board. however vs this villain given stacks and stats its aight. not thrilled bout it tho

Q8hh: i dont mind a raisefold on the turn. but dont mind ur line at all. tbh man.... i cant find a fold on this river. what do u put him on? he probably kees betting many of his 7x here cuz lol trips. he ever has any 5x other than Ah5 and then theres quads and nothing else. rly cant find it in me to fold this.

AA: 200bb deep ****...... well played as is
