Good to see you getting to 50NL.
On the same day as me!
I luuuuv the overbet on the QT hand!
I´ve started to incorporate some river overbetting as well.
Sometimes 2xpot, but never that big.
Must try it some time.

I don't have it explicitly in my overall game plan but I will use it on some hands. In this example I raised very quickly (to somewhat force a spur of the moment decision from him) to a round number which would come out to one chip visually.

This reg I had 46 hands on, very high 3b, high AF. When the A hits the turn I want to let him spew some more on the river since I don't think he has it much of the time. I think he just folds if I bet turn.

Overall I rate myself at 70% quality play for this first try at 50NL, I did spew some hands. As a first impression, more regs, more 3 bets, less folds to 3 bets (rightfully so), more calls of 4 bets as well. It's starting to feel more like a real challenge but I'm feeling confident (for the moment). Got to 3bet (nitty) team pros so that's a plus.

50NL graph

Day overall 25NL+50NL.

Got my gold stars too, think they go nicely with the beard.

So 182.50$ profit for the day + 10$ milestone reward (next one is 50$ and vpps are flowing a bit more now) + 21.34$ from 2 235 fpp sats I won (I'm 2 out of 6 in the last ones) = 213.84$ for the day

Bankroll is at 951.37$, bring it

Nice work man, Congrats on making Gold Star, I'm hoping to make it this month as well. First you beat me to 50NL, and now Gold Star . I think i'll use you as a guineapig and keep playing 25NL for a bit, then once I see you're crushing 50nl i'll move up haha.

I'll probably do one once I get my 10k hands of 50NL out of the way, chances are that I'll have to play more than 10k this time before moving up unless I run very hot. I think I'd try 100NL at 1800+ bankroll so I still have around 850 to make. As for my red line I'm not sure exactly how it's so intense, my speciality is letting people think I'm weak (whether I'm weak or not doesn't matter) and turning their agression around on them when they bet to take it away.

Don't worry about me, I'm running well and taking risks you don't necessarily have to take. I think you should take a shot at 50NL though, not doing it is likely to make you play worse at 25NL. You'll be scared just thinking about it until you do it. Gold star will come easily as well, 50NL rake is incredibly high, I've paid around 90$ today.

Thank you very much, I still can't believe what a difference mental game can make. You wouldn't believe some of my previous graphs (****ty) as a result of tilt.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On to my day so far, 50NL starting to play nice with me. Playing my A game + running very well is nice.

Towards the end I was like ok only 5$ more and I reach a 1k+ bankroll again. Ended up overshooting it by quite a bit.

Opponent is 25/16 over 40 hands, 4.0 AF 5% 3bet (mostly from the sb). On the flop against the min raise he can obviously have 88 or 22 but also various Ax hands and flush draws. 200bb deep I'm thinking I'm gonna make him **** his pants. He snaps off my flop 4bet which could still be any of those hands. I turn the nut flush draw and decide to continue my agression (for once with some equity haha). On the river it's clear he has a set since he didn't really think about it again and probably would have with AK AQ or flush draws even this deep. Jam the nuts get snapped of for my biggest pot in this challenge.

This was a fun hand, I was thinking about c/r turn anyways but hit a set which made it even easier, he bet out pretty big and fast so I thought on the river I was getting called a fair percentage. Opponent was on the nitty side over 77 hands 16/12, only 10% from co, 60% from btn.

This play is very opponent dependant. 39/25 over 58 hands, 2.2AF 13% 3b 33% SQZ in btn so yeah. I timed a bit and flatted. On the flop I have AA as far as he knows so I'm still calling here, he snap gives up turn as I take it away for under half pot.

Most important part of course, my graph keeps looking exponentially sexy and even I am getting aroused looking at it these days. I'll have to stop doing that since obviously this can't continue forever and I'll have to face some variance and better players at some point.

i dont like the way you play the QQ hand... imo, c/r'ing turn achieves nothing that calling wouldn't achieve. we only get more value from fd's or stubborn pairs/overpairs or cooler everything thats getting the money in by the river anyway. I also think you give villain chance to fold KK/AA which hed probs bet river himself if we just call turn. Obv villain folds all bluffs too but i doubt a 15/12 is bluffing river much anyway. I also think your sizing on river is too big, ik we set up a shove but is villain really calling off a shove OTR? Considering we have the nuts, i think you should go much smaller, if we get raised were happy ofc.

with all that said, i think c/r'ing is fine if you dont shove the river. also im finding it hard to see situations where we win the extra $15 you got ott by c/r'ing if we just call.

just my thoughts ofc.

My biggest gripe with this hand is my river betsizing but since he called fairly quickly on the turn I was going for max value. If I call turn the pot is 15$ on the river with my stack having 53.82$ in it and I'm not gonna like c/r that much if a spade hits (and check shoving would be even worse) and by c/r the turn I get to define his hand a bit more as well. As part of my general tendencies I like to c/r turns OOP with lots of air and draws so I like having the nuts in there as well. If he bets the river with AA/KK on a blank and I c/r or c/shove he still gets to fold his AA KK but also gets to check back lots of other crap. I like to take control of a hand whenever I can.

I think i was epically spewy tho at the time and definately was far too aggressive in certain spots where I'm sure i ran good without going to showdown.
