if you just go personalize->aero themes->windows 7 that does the trick

I may be just ******ed, but my tournament lobbies don't close automatically anymore. It's been so long since I tinkered with TN so I don't even remember where the autoclose setting was originally. Has this setting been altered with the update? Where is it? I'm trying to find it 12 tabling but have had no success.

If your using the Sensei its easiest to just disable them. You can do so by going to PokerStars>Options>Advanced Multi-Table Options and disable the box marked "Auto-open Sit & Go tournament lobby". Otherwise you can find the option to close them in TableNinja>Opening/Closing>Tournaments.

Did you make the changes on the adjust visual effects link as well? I'm still unable to reproduce this on any of my XP or non-Aero test machines so I'm not sure of the exact cause. So far enabling desktop composition has solved it for everyone that can use Aero.

My best guess is your on an Aero theme but have desktop composition disabled. If you send a copy of your TNLog file from C:/Program Files/TableNinja to support@alxsoftware.com I should be able to tell for sure.

If your using Vista or Windows 7 try right clicking the desktop and choose personalize. Choose an Aero based theme. Then go to the start menu search and type "performance information and tools", without the quotes, and hit enter. In the new window that pops up click the adjust visual effects link. Choose custom and make sure everything is disabled except the following:

enable desktop composition
enable transparent glass
show thumbnails instead of icons
smooth edges of screen fonts
use visual styles on windows and buttons

If your using XP I'm afraid there isn't a workaround as Aero doesn't exist. I've let the developers know and we will release an update as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

XP unfortunately. Hopefully the update is ready soon, I am lost without TN!

It's a start, but really we need it to do the initial rebuy also. That's by far the most cumbersome part of the whole rebuy experience.

Any news regarding NOVA theme support ?

It seems to be happening only in XP or non-Aero themes when overlapping tables. Try switching TableNinja>Setup to tiled or no overlap and let me know if the problem remains.

I have a feature request. Allow users to disable auto-update so we can avoid problems like this in the future.

At this point the biggest impediment to getting games in besides my own laziness are TN's issues after updates.

Might be unimportant to you, just as Nova theme support is unimportant to me.
Personally speaking, the auto rebuy stuff is a pretty big deal.

Can any XP users that were affected by the crash problem confirm that it is resolved by this new update ?

HELP!

When I have TN running, I cannot click on the auto add-on or auto-rebuy buttons...When I close TN, I can then check those options...

(Note: this was in the $8 3x turbo rebuy...I am also playing a 109 2x where I can click auto-rebuy)

Hmmm...it's even worse than I thought, TN seems to actually UNCHECK the options when I open the program...will keep it off for a while and see if it's maybe a problem on Stars' end.
