We have some ideas, but there are a lot of complications. We've worked on it a lot already and will continue to do so.

Which tables are considered for the cycle to first in line hotkey? Is it only tables where one can act on a hand or are e.g. tables where I'm sitting out considered?

tarath,

recently read your post about turning off frames to improve system performance.

i've never had any lag but i started playing more tables recently (12+) and noticed some when i get over 15ish..seems like turning off frames has def helped.

are there any other things that disabling will improve performance noticeably?

thanks again for great program and great support afterwords..have already bought it for two of my friends

Only tables where it is your turn are considered, although Stars will automatically pop up tables when you first sit out.

Glad you like the program

Besides turning frames off there are a few options for improving performance.

1) If you are running Microsoft Security essentials be sure to add TN to the list of excluded programs.
2) Adjust your table size. In general smaller tables will be much faster.
3) Adjust your theme. In general the classic or no-images theme is the fastest
4) If you don't use default bets disable them by setting all the %s to 0
5) If you're not using an Aero theme in Vista/Win7 switch into one

Let me know if none of those options help,

Thanks,

Tarath

Damn. This program really does kick ass, to say the least.

Really makes my life easier. Money well spent...

Anyone reading this I would highly recommend just straight up buying it if you don't already have it.

The SnG Sensei will probably not be available for TNFT for some time. It is one of our most complex features and it will take significant work to adapt it to FTP. I'm sorry :/

Thanks guys,

Tarath.

Thanks for your info, tis a solid product.

Today when I started up TNft I got a virus warning "Backdoor.Win32.Ceckno.RAA@18514656".

False positive?

I've never heard of a problem like this so I'm not sure what to suggest. Can you please start a thread on the issue here: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2 and post a screen shot of your table when this problem occurs? We'll help you out and if needed get on teamviewer with you to fix the problem.

Hmm, I've never seen anything like this before. I'd remove TNFT and redownload (from our site) and reinstall and if that doesn't help I'd do a full virus scan. If your system comes up clean it may be a false positive, but we've only never had a reproduceable case of a false positive in the past so I'd be sure to make sure that nothing in your installation folder got corrupted and that your machine does not have some other virus.

Thanks!

Tarath

Hey Tarath,

No question...but just wanted to say that this program is great. I've recently started playing on Stars after being at FTP for some time. The Stars software is painful to use compared to ftp, but this program makes it soooooo much better. I've had no problem using mods as well.

Nicely done Sir.

Hey Tarath,
I'm going to be upgrading from windows xp to windows 7 and was wondering what files I need to back up so I can keep my current settings.

Just your TNConfigAutoLoad.txt file from your TableNinja install directory. That file contains your entire auto-saved configuration. If you have manually saved any configurations with other names you'll want to keep those also obviously

While on this subject, I've got an issue with the table control slots.. can't seem to resize correctly! it's very annoying
Where can I find bugs and fixes associated with table control

Also, with Table Under Mouse, my hotkeys on mouse work. BUT with Table in Foreground, they do not!

Also, is it TN or Pokerstars client that won't leave my mouse alone when I cycle tables?? VERY ANNOYING! I want to keep my mouse where I want it, not have it jump to table in same spot near betting. I do NOT have this button checked but it still moves my mouse when I cycle tables, and I'd be much faster and efficient if it would leave my cursor ALONE!

Anyone have any issues with Pinnacle Game Profiler? I map all my gamepads buttons to keyboard buttons no problem. Inside Windows it works fine. I can type letters and move mouse with the gamepad but once my cursor is over a Pokerstars table the gamepad stops working. I can however use the keyboard for the hotkeys but it defeats the purpose of what I am trying to accomplish. It used to work a while back. It seems to be more of a Pokerstars problem than a TN problem but just curious if anyone out there is using it.

FWIW I run Windows 7 64bit.

I play fixed limit. If I start a table at least 3 handed and I'm lucky enough to get a position outside of the blinds and I'm first to act, TN openlimps for me. Is this a known issue?

How could I use the numbers on the side of this mouse: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Razer+-+...&skuId=9549991

as hotkeys for TableNinja???? Would I need external software?

Is it possible to have a feature to open N Big Blinds if we're on the button and no one else has come in?

I already have this. I have Logitech mouse and have the Big thumb button to send "Ctrl + F7" to Pokerstars.exe. Then I have TN set up for "AA Fold".

The resizing issue is something we're working on that's affecting a small % of machines. In the mean time you can set up the STA hotkey locations manually by editing your TNConfigAutoLoad file in notepad.

Just look for a line like this:
SET_TABLE_ASIDE_1 = <ctrl>-D1::397,138,1018,601::False

The left 2 numbers (397 and 138) are the coordinates of the top left corner of the table. The right two numbers are the width and height of the table.

When you say your mouse hotkeys do not work with Table In Foreground are you only using one mouse hotkey and do you have it assigned to AA Check/Fold? If you have multiple mouse hotkeys assigned to basic actions like check or call I don't know how this could be possible. If it is an AA Check/Fold issue this hotkey does not work on your turn in Table in Foreground to protect you from misclicks. For details on this see here: http://tableninja.com/faq.php#Why%20...ound%20option?

Finally if you are in Table Under Mouse TableNinja has to jump your mouse when you cycle tables. This is because the program will automatically target whatever table is under your cursor. If you want to switch to target Table B but keep you cursor over Table A it wouldn't work. Table A would be instantly retargeted because it would be under your cursor.

Hopefully these answers make sense. Sorry for the hassle with the STA resizing issue.

If you're playing limit and starting new tables you'll need to turn off the "Handle Big Blind Annoyances" option. Unfortunately this feature is not able to handle this situation of starting new tables and not being on the blind in FL.

You could make a fixed bet hotkey to use in these situations. There is no way to make the default bets do this because TableNinja currently does not read your position in the hand.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

How do you set that up and would it work for the mouse I posted?

Regarding table ninja full tilt.

Is there a way to immediately move to the next table after an action. Say I fold, and it's not my turn at the next table, BUT the 'fold any' is available on the next table. Basically want to move onto this table and use fold any instead of waiting for the next action.

Unfortunately this is not currently an option, although it is a nice idea.
