Neither of these filter combinations are currently fully possible unfortunately. Our QA/Testing Manager is discussing the possibility of making them possible in a future update but that will be a big project and is not currently documented for them to start working on.

Downloaded hands? It should be accurate in HM3 but it is way wrong in HM2 currently. It is going to show you much further below EV than reality.

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HM-9091 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

No I'm not worried about the actual winnings, I can see this on sharkscope. What I've done is I've imported the downloaded hands and set the buy in/winnings for all games to $0 but I'm wondering whether the EV line is accurate?

It is very wrong.

The problem seems to be with hands that are preflop all-in which Hero wins. The EVdiff shows 0 while it should have a negative value which then means the player's EV line is higher than it should be. There may be other situations too (not just all-in pre situations), but we haven't confirmed any yet.
Here is an example of how wrong it can be:

Any reason why HM3 would start crashing about 30 secs after launch? Have been using it for a while and just started this morning.

Tried to launch with logging enabled and it crashed before was able to select settings.

In middle of session but will try logging again later.

Thank you

Hi Fozzy71,

I remember we could see avg all-in EQ in the winnings graph in HM2 but I don't see it in HM3 and only see ICM adjusted which is irrelevant to me (it perfectly follows the winnings line anyway...)

Is there a way to show the avg all-in EQ in the winnings graph again please?

Thanks

Kind regards,

Hi, HEM 2 question. Is there a way to make custom filters for hand markings? I'm struggling to find the answer.

We will need to see your logs and a description of the problem in a support ticket. Basic logs without any feature logging enabled is fine for now.

Please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread and your forum username. Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files and a screenshot and detailed description of the issue in the support ticket you created.

HM2 and HM3 have the same graph options. Neither has such a graphing option. That stat can only be added to Reports.

Which site or sites are you experiencing this issue with? STT or MTT?

Please zip and email the problem original hand histories and tournament summaries to us as instructed at the end of this FAQ.

Make sure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

You would need to make your own filters for whatever criteria you feel defines each tab/mark and save that filter for use later. Tags are just text tags to easily find hands later. We have no way what criteria each customer might use to define a bad beat, suckout, etc when tagging hands.

Thanks for the fast answer.

My bad, I thought it was actually present in HM2 and was called "Luck adjusted winnings" (as we can see in your image) but it's not the same if I understand well?

My issue is happening with both Winamax (5% used) & Pokerstars (95% used) and with MTTs (only playing those).

Again, if I had to zip it would be 90K hands for over 600Mo of database... not sure you want this / I could do this, right? (btw I already tried to create a new database either from importing from old one or from folders/files and the issue is still happening)

Thank you for the reply. I think I misspoke when I said 'filters'. Can I add custom tag options somehow? Ie. add: "Preflop spots" or "River spots" to the list of the existing four?

LAW is what we called ICM in HM2.

ICM is only calculated in STT and at final tables of MTT. If you have some MTT that you final tabled that are not showing ICM on the graph then send us a small sample of a few tournaments for each site. We do not need your entire archive sent, just files for those specific tournaments or days.

You can see your MTT cEV (Chip EV) on the Overall (or any other) report with the mini pop-out graph in HM2 and the side bar graph of HM3 which graphs by hands. We also just recently added cEV stats to the HM3 reports:

Are you playing on PokerStars or Full Tilt? Amaya imposed rules that greatly inhibit how HUDs can work. The changes were can be viewed here, which was discussed in detail in this thread when the first round of rules were enforced.

These features that will no longer work on the live tables will still work in the replayer for the hands played at Stars and Full Tilt as long as the poker client is closed.

The latest restrictions from the new 04Mar2019 rule change are: 3+ Bet Premium stats, NASH Popups, and TableScanner join/open buttons can't be used on live tables, and the HUD Settings - Tournament Filters - Stack Size filters are not allowed to update automatically.*

We have changed other features in HM2 previously such as the HUD Settings > Stat Appearance > 'Color Ranges' only the first 3 colors/ranges will work on FTP/Stars and Auto Rate features are also not allowed at live tables. Auto Rate icons can still be set manually but we are not allowed to have them auto assign any more at PokerStars or Full Tilt.

NoteCaddy Restrictions on Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars are detailed here.

If you continue to have problems or do not play at stars:

Please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with screenshots (showing the HUD on a table and the HUD color range settings) and a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

There are no plans for a MAC version of HM3 at this time. If you want to use HM2 or HM3 on a MAC you will need to use something like Parallels or BootCamp so you can install Windows for playing poker. If you do not want to use Windows to play poker you could consider trying the MAC version of PT4.

How do I move hands from one HM3 database to another HM3 database? I want to move older hands and hands for stakes I no longer play into a seperate database to reduce the size of my active database.

You can export Hands from the Tools menu but I am not sure if those filters will be enough for what you want to do. If not, you can manually export from the By Stakes (or any other) report by selecting the hands in the bottom grid and using the right-click menu. Once you have exported hands make a new DB using the File menu then manually import the hands using the File - 'Import Folder...' menu.

You could also use the Tools menu to 'Purge Hands...' but we do not yet have a built in method to vacuum the DB and reclaim that space, so you would have to manually vacuum the DB as explained below:

- Install the SQLite Browser - https://sqlitebrowser.org/dl/
- Restart your computer and leave HM3 and the HM3 Server (HUD Only Mode) closed.
- Launch the SQLite Browser program and then click 'Open Database' option, switch the File Type box to 'All Files' and select your database you want to compact.
- Now click Tools - 'Compact Database...' - 'OK'.
- The process will likely say 'not responding' but just be patient as it can take a good bit of time for larger databases.
- When the process finishes the 'Compact Database' window that had popped up will close and then you can close the main DB Browser software.

Here is a short video example of me showing the process on an old test database - https://www.dropbox.com/s/rxknx2tld0...owser.mp4?dl=0

In that case: You could also export the HUD from PC1 and import it to PC2, or just edit the HUD Profile in PC2 to the proper color in the HUD Settings - General Settings - 'HUD Font' menu by changing the 'Text' color.

If I export hands am I right in thinking they still remain in the old database I have exported them from? I will just have a 2nd version of them I can add into a new database?

What I'm really looking forward is to move hands into a new database to clear up space in my current database (while still having the old hands somewhere should I need them in the future), it sounds like from what you are saying the only way I can really do that is to export hands to a new database, then purge those hands from the main database, then perform a manual vacuum of the main database as above.

Am I understanding that correctly or will exporting hands clear up space in my current database?

A quick performance question comparing hm2 vs hm3.

Currently using hm2 I experience some lag after an hour or so playing 10 tables with hud running. Will I notice any performance difference playing the same amount of tables with hm3? Or would it be identicle and it’s more of a ram/cpu issue to notice any performance change?

Also is note caddy fully functional yet with hm3?
