You need to be sure that you wait after sitting out before you close the table to be sure the hand has finished. There is a known problem with the pokerstars software that if you close the zoom table before the hand has finished the stars client will not write the hand history to file. if they dont write the hand we cant import it.

Does it still work if you only play 2 - 4 tables? If so, try a simple (default 2.0) HUD like Netsrak suggested and see if it helps. It shouldn't matter but we want to be sure that is not the problem.

If it still works when playing 4 tables, but stops when you start mass-tabling, please attach your prefs.xml file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Co nfig. If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'prefs'. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.


If you continue to have problems, or it doesn't work when playing 4 tables or less, try the following -

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Close HM2.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again.

If that helps, please send us a copy of the original prefs.xml file you moved to your desktop and we can try to take a look to see what settings may have been causing the problem. Please email the prefs.xml file, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

Sorry if this has been mentioned and a fix has already been given but there is so much to trawl through and I'm struggling to find what I need.

I just updated HEM1 to 1.12.10a to get a HUD for zoom and it is now displaying a HUD but it isn't relevant to the table I'm playing. It seems to be lagging behind.

Is there a fix for this anywhere please?

Interesting, I have exactly the same problem. Already have prefetch off, did setup hero name, did select good seat, but so far nothing works.

Edit: I am not sure if it lags, I just don't have the right names on the table.

Edit: Also did try to restart HM while playing, also doesn't work.

I assume this is an MTT of some sort? Which site? And which version of HM1?

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.

If the game is over already (which I assume to be the case) simply send us the hand history files from your archive folder. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Weird, but it seems to work fine with the default hud. I think there's a problem with the HUD I'm using. It's one that I had imported from HEM1, so I'm going to just try and recreate it from scratch in HEM2. It s just a pain because I had a lot of text and color formatting in it.

Im still having problems with the HUD.
currently my hud is showing as is the rest of the huds in the correct positions for zoom, however the huds are 1 or 2 hands behind.
Ive also noticed that through my holdem manager there seems to be a bunch of duplicate hands going through every few seconds, would this be the cause of the lag ?
how can i fix this ?

Created new HUD from HEM2 and it seems to work fine now. I'll test it on the full number of tables tomorrow.

I tried to update to the latest HEM 1 and this is what I get. I have tried many times for over ten hours now.

The screenshot shows what I am dealing with. The top pic occurs first when I try to open HEM and the below image occurs hours later.

Really need my HUD, please advise on what to do. Thanks

Thank you for letting me know it came from HM1 initially. I know it won't be fun but it sounds like recreating it will be the best option. Make sure that once you recreate it in HM2 that you Export a copy of it in case you have problems with it in the future you can just delete the problem HUD and import the original again.

Which folder, exactly, are you referring to? This one?

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\No teCaddyDefinitions

There is no way to change the path that these files are saved to so you will want to make sure you manually backup/save the files if you are worried about losing them as they aren't part of the 'backup' tab in the database manager. Space should not be a concern as they take up very little actual data/size.

There is not a 'save' menu/option but once you create a set of colors for one stat it will be added to the drop-down list of default colors, but not until after you have closed and reopened the HUD Options menu. This necessity to close/open the HUD Options menu before it is added to the drop-down list is a bug we hope to get fixed in the future but I don't have an ETA for when that will be fixed. It isn't perfect, but it does work.

I was also unable to find this stat in the 'Stats' menu for the Reports so I wrote a bug for it. I have a feeling it is in there but improperly categorized since I can't find the 'CBet Success' category that I found it under in the HUD Options > Displayed Stats menu. The developers are in the process of making changes to the Reports > Stats menu and the HUD Options > Displayed Stats menu to make them more identical to each other but I didn't want this specific stat to be over-looked so I wrote it up separately in it's own bug ticket.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-4719: Reports > Stats: Missing the 'CBet Success' category that is found in the HUD Options > Displayed Stats menu.

The update runs a database update which may need more than 10 minutes if your database is large or your computer slow. Just let it run overnight and make sure to have enough free space on your HDD.

If you can't get past that error you may need to create a new database and import your original hands to rebuild your database.

Manually run the \rvg software\holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe > connect > create new database

*Now import your \HMArchive - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

You should also be able to install the 1.12.09 version from our downloads page, connect to your previous database, and export the hands to be sure you are able to get them all imported to the new database in 1.12.10 that caused the timeout for your old database.

My HEM1 HUD seems to work ok after the latest patch , although i seem to have to restart HEM at the start of every session.

If Hero HUD stats are shown then the HUD just does not update, but when i restart HEM1 Hero HUD stats go away and it works ok.

Im definitely having cursor lag even when playing only 2 or 3 Zoom tables ..something i did not have when mass tabling the normal tables, although i did stack tables then instead of tiling the Zoom tables .... so maybe i just did not notice the cursor lag

Ive asked table ninja to see if its a problem with their software, maybe its my computer or maybe the duplicate hands are slowing every thing down.
