I thought the acting seemed kind of meh all-around during the first half of the episode. On the other hand, I thought everything after that was excellent.

Didn't really like episode 2 particularly.... found so much of it really trite. I know they are probably just following the comic book as close as possible so they are a little restricted in what they could do.

Like the oh so diverse crowd on the roof, let's see we have a white guy, a black guy, an asian guy, a hispanic guy, a white woman, a black woman. It's the freaking U.N. up there, how very "tv"

Plus the asian kid wasn't a good actor at all.

And I don't want to nit it up like alot of people did the last episode, but they did things there is no way anyone would do at all.

Ok so the zombies are aroused by smell, sound, and site... ok well they are tryign to smash through the doors, would you really hang out like 15 feet in front of the doors making idle chit chat? Isn't that just riling them up more and making them trying to get in harder?

Still thought it created a good deal of tension in the escape, you weren't sure if they were all gonna make it.

I really hope they don't keep pushing the "angry white rednecks" angle... if it's in the books I guess they have to.

Man, I really thought they were setting up the racist guy for the traditional "******* gets ripped to pieces" zombie death.

Nope, looks like instead he'll be occupying some kind of "T Bag from Prison Break" role--obv going to see him again, wish he could become overlord of the zombies or something

"When I find my family, I'm gonna tell them about Wayne."

Damn that was an awful line.

Mediocre episode at best. Pretty much nothing so far has been particularly original or interesting, and there is a lot of stuff that is poorly written.

I guess the pilot set an impossible standard, because the second episode was a bit of a letdown. And I'm finding the guy's wife and partner really unlikable -- I was hoping they'd get eaten by zombies while they were having their secret tryst.

I enjoyed the insane klansman going buck wild for seemingly no reason, it just makes sense. Less reverence for the dead plz, afterall theres around 6 billion of them and time can be an issue as they're all really hungry. rofl at the gut smear, it did create some tension though. I don't like our chances if Georgia lets %20 of the states women wander around the woods outside of camp alone searching for crucial mushrooms. Barricades mfers, use em.

Still, can't wait for next week

I suppose the fact that I knew from the opening credits which characters were regs helped. Speaking of the credits, I didn't like 'em. This fan made one from a couple of months back was way better, the show should have listened to the online campaign and used it.
The fan-made credits are cool but absolutely don't fit with the tone of the show.

I really enjoyed it. There was quite a bit of small dumb stuff in this one, where the pilot really didn't have much at all, but the good stuff in this one was insane.

I was entertained. Some cheesy dialogue, but whatever, it's zombie tv and actually pretty good.

I liked the episode. Don't see any validity to the standard OOTV "lol acting" criticism ITT, thought everyone was fine. Loved the "Yeeeeaaah, the refugee center...they got biscuits waiting at the oven for us," line.

Acting was perfectly fine. mjkidd is also right about the credits and disagreeing is like comic fanboyism or something. You don't want to play up the comic book background of a serious show.

Also, Omar, the Asian kid was pretty clearly from The Goonies, not The Temple of Doom. Accuracy matters.

Bitch be getting his head caved in with a fire axe yo! The entrenching tool to the face was pretty awesome too, as was the run and gun afterwards. Every other scene i was expecting to see some grenade use, i guess they are saving that one up. But the body hacking was pretty damn twisted.

Sunday nights with Dexter and now this make it fap night for the serial killers.

Redneck obv survives, the hacksaw was knocked off so it landed near him and black dude locked the roof door.

Nit time, sending around 1/3 of your entire group to scavenge for supplies with just three guns is so lolbad its unreal. Plus they were scavenging in a department store for some weird reason.

Ppl nitting on acting are missing the point of the show. Huge bodycount, brutal murder of the undead and survivalism is what you should care about, i dont give two ***** how good or bad the acting is.

That said id never have expected to see the dude from Teachers in this role.

Also, asian kid:

The grenade is useless in almost any combat situation against zombies and would only be used as a suicide aid.
