Wonder if there was any story Tori could've gone with here.

No Jeff, I'd still like to vote in the normal manner so I can use my steal a vote and triple vote advantages.

Then lol Drea comes out swinging and uses her advantage is power to steal Tori's non-existent advantages.

Drea was 100
Maryanne just wanted to be part of it.

I think Drea’s equity skyrocketed.

I would love to see uncut tape of how all this information got relayed to the four remaining men at camp. None of them either white nor black. My guess is Drea does what Drea does and barely says anything.

Omar is not gay. He is super gay. He'd make for a great drag queen. Unfortunately he believes in some pie in the sky spaghetti monster bullshit that teaches that being gay is bad. He's never had sex with a man or a woman so don't be saying Omar isn't gay. Come on man.

If I won $1000000, I wouldnt give a hoot if I “tainted it” by playing the race card.
Who knew that was the most powerful trinket she had all along?

In an ordinary vote, no one has a clue who's played their SITD and who hasn't, so I assume multiple players can play it in the same vote, otherwise the order that you vote matters - it wouldn't make sense that the first person in the voting booth can play it, and then no one else can after that.

It would be really something if she just leaned into it - every tribal saying this game is like society, it's rigged against black people consciously or subconsciously and if you vote me out, it means you are racist. Then see who's got the stones to vote her out. It might be no one. Then go to FTC and say if you don't vote for me to win, you're a racist.

Any white people going to vote against her on national TV after being told a vote against her is racist?

The all have a token that they exchange for the draw. Once you use it, it's gone.

I dunno, I don't blame her for doing what she did, but in terms of gameplay I would say that she's gone from a decent level jury threat to a massive threat now. She can steal Mike's idol but it's going to be pretty hard for her to get to the end from here I'd say.

The odds that both Tori and her pull safe scrolls is very low so it's largely a waste to do so in that spot. Basically you are calling for a one or two outer at best.

Sure but if it's a freeroll why not?

My guess is that it just never occurred to her.

I think each player only gets 1 shot, and she'd rather save it for another time.

Yup, you only get one shot in the game and it can be used up until final 7.

I think he said in one episode he was a virgin and had a "partner" of 6 years or something but they were waiting to get married. That's probably where you got it from. If a guy says partner instead of girlfriend it's almost always a man I would say?

My gaydar is definitely tingling when I see Omar. Not as obvious as Hai & Romeo of course. I actually thought it was kind of funny how stereotypical they were all sitting at tribal council.

Yes. The #1 indicator that he is gay is that CBS cast him.

I'm not from the USA & from a country where BLM is a thing but not as dominant as in USA. But this just sounds surreal to me. I hope it was meant as a joke .

I knew something was up with how fast that 1st tribal was over ...

I understand how Drea just got this rush of emotions and lost self control there, but she has to regret bringing the race card up when she's back to her normal self, right? In the end the message boiled down to "I know it's not racist but it feels like it is, and now I have to play my idol because otherwise the world will go crazy. ". From my perspective, that yields absolutely nothing positive anywhere. It's all just negative **** all over the place, inside or outside the show.

I was also surprised by the gigantic reactions of them entering tribal. Is there a possibility production tried to stir up **** by talking to them beforehand? I know reality shows can do some pretty crazy stuff, and it at least feels like Survivor is heading more & more in that direction.

Not a good episode for Jonathan, can't imagine they'd edit like this if he ships it? He's probably one of the next boots .

Ya he'll be the consensus boot next week because he's 'racist'
Survivor: GENERAL THREAD Quote

I understand Jonathan's reaction because Drea's comments made no rational sense. I get him being defensive, since she basically alleged that race is a factor in how people are voting. Jonathan should have kept his mouth shut though. He has zero to gain by saying anything at all there.

He seemed to get somewhat of a bad edit this past week, first he was shown repeatedly mansplaining to the "emotional" women on his team, and then with the race comments at tribal.

Def not a winner edit but I'd say he was a long shot to win even before this last ep.

I just hate that it all went down like it did. They should have voted properly at minimum.

Also, Drea could have stolen Maryanne's idol so it didn't go to waste.

Where is all the outrage about Rocksroy wanting to band together and vote out the women?

How good of a game would Lindsay have to play to win a vote against a non white final 3

If SITD can only be played till final 7, and after this vote, they are at F8, it seems like a good time to shoot it IMO.

Don’t you lose your vote if you use it?
Survivor: GENERAL THREAD Quote
05-01-2022 , 11:25 AM
Yes, but it seemed like Jonathan, Drea and Maryanne were all on Tori, so her vote wasn’t needed. Which probably means it makes even more since to SITD.

Lindsay would simply be protecting against Tori drawing the safe card.
