Not because of how law enforcement handled his multiple confessions but because of how he was treated by his own family and more specifically avery.
Zellner I find even more detestable than before.
While I don't share the same disdain for Zellner I would say I did lose some respect for her as a lawyer throughout season 2 of making a murderer.
In the first episode she came off really inspiring and I was very excited to see her craft in action and how she would re-investigate and dive into the finer details of the case.
It reminded me of a scene in a movie of a really strong pep talk from a top football coach who's team was about to take the field against the defending champions. A true underdog story but in MaM once the team gets onto the field they realize that their coach is just totally full of poop with no real strategy planned and is just pinning their hopes to gadget plays and thrown hail marys.
That's how many of her wild theories and finger waving came off to me.
