I've been rewatching Louie, almost through season 1. I'd forgotten how hilarious and original it is. New episodes coming in May.

Yea Louie is pretty funny. This is one of my favorite scenes.

The part that they don't show is after the kids leave with his Ex he dumps the tree out the window closes shades and crashes hard.

I thought there was a thread for Rake but I can't find it.

I am getting bored with this show.

Kennear is doing all he can to elevate the material, but it's just losing steam IMO. I don't care about the ex-hooker now that we're not seeing her half nekkid, and the assistant trying to act despondent about her BF leaving was just painful. And:

Spoiler:
Things are becoming absolutely ridiculous with his upcoming affair with the Mayor's wife

crisis looks good too, at least it looks like it will start out good. then it will probably suck later ala hostages

OMFG The Red Road looks awesome and I know next to nothing about it.

Jason Momoa (who I have loved since SGA) and SundanceTV original which is currently 1 for 1 with Rectify locks me in for the entire season without seeing a single clip from it or even a decent idea of the plot outside of a brief wiki summary.

I enjoyed it as far as pilots go. It needs to build it up quickly, its not as instantly engaging as I had hoped, but it has set the foundations well enough.

I hope it takes place entirely in a carnival.

Lololol

Did they ever leave the carnival stuff, I quit watching at that point.

Heroes being relaunched is like "dude, where is my Firefly relaunch?". They need to make Firefly The Next Generation starring Wil Wheaton as the captain.

I didn't see a thread on the HBO series Hung, but I'll throw it out there. This series sucks. The "pimp" Tanya is like a Republican's character of a liberal feminist woman, caught up in esoteric ideas, self sabotaging. She's literally the worst person in the disguise of supposedly protagonist that I have seen. I'm watching it now to see how bad Tanya can f*ck things up, and the hot women. It's bad when the tertiary characters like Lydia the cop are the most psychologically interesting persons.

There was a thread on it when it was airing, and I don't think there was one person who truly enjoyed. A couple of us liked a few aspects, but overall, the show was a massive fail.

But the redhead and his former student kinda made up for it a lot.

Really has some of that Office Space feel. It's intended to be a parody comedy right?

Seems that way. The cast is pretty a-list as far as up and coming comedians go, should be a much better version of Betas (which was pretty good).

What's the guy's name with the beard in that shot (couldn't easily find it on imdb)? I'm trying to remember where I've seen him. I really like Kumail on Franklin and Bash, and Gabe from The Office proved he had some real range in Veep (still creepy, but brought the rest of it in the right amounts).

Martin Starr? The guy who was Bill on Freaks and Geeks? Plus other small roles recently on Community and Burning Love.

Edit, or TJ Miller, maybe?

I think he played the video store guy in a memorable performance in The Goldbergs recently. I've seen him in a couple of other things, but his delivery is pretty similar in Silicon Valey to what it was in The Goldbergs (not sure if that's his thing, because I haven't seen enough of his work).

Is The Goldbergs any good?

You should watch Party Down if you're a sitcom fan.

I'm not sold on The Goldbergs yet, but others are. A few episodes ago, I saw its true potential (possibly in the episode I mentioned), and it has a chance to be something good. I think it will also get renewed. I'm a few episodes behind, though.

One day I'm planning on checking out Party Down, but time is currently an enemy.
