Ted's continuing cluelessness about basic football tactics is now less endearing and more makes him seem like a disinterested dimwit.

stuck at home with a cold and just binged the entire season of Beef, the show is really, really good, haven't seen something of this quality on Netflix in quite some time

I hope that if they do a 2nd season, it will be a completely new plot and characters (anthology style), there is really zero point in continuing this story in any way and the ending was perfect

Waco: The Aftermath is really good so far. Excellent cast and they’re headed towards some ****!! Much better than I thought it would be.

Not sure I'll get to S2 of Yellowjackets if it gets into big time eating people lol. S1 was decent though.

Big Bet takes a few episodes to get in but then it's really top notch. Any poker player that has moved abroad should connect heavily to that show.

I was wondering about this show. May need to give it a go.

How does it compare to the Waco show from the other year?

Based on the cast and where it seems that they’re headed, just as good or better. Or at least more interesting.

I assume the new Waco is going to follow Timothy McVeigh and the bombing in Oklahoma?

Finished Beef
Spoiler:
Those last two episodes really took a turn, reminds me a bit of the original ending of Neon Genesis Evangelion or even Bojack Horseman. Have a feeling I'll be thinking about it for a while, but think it could have ended at ep 9 and been fine

Polished it off last night too. Didn't really like the final episode. Good season though, if they have more ideas worth green-lighting then I'd certainly be back for season two.

Watched the first two episodes of Beef...it's well-written and well-acted, but for some reason I don't want to see anymore. I don't like seeing economically desperate people, for some reason...unless it's a crime story. Hits too close to home lol.

You're saying Waco Aftermath about Timothy McVeigh? I'm confused.

McVeigh was at Waco...showed up in support of the Davidians. Some have speculated that Waco was one of the catalysts that sparked McVeigh to do what he did.

McVeigh blew up the building on April 19th, same day as the Waco fire. I also read that he used that date as his fake birthday.

For all the planning that goes into a bombing, he was caught because his getaway car had no license plate.

If you are ever in OKC, the memorial is a must do. They have audio recordings of employees on the phone when the explosion occurred. It is a chilling experience.
