Here's that goofy a$$ song Gale was singing in his apartment

1. My first thought during the opening scene was that the real estate agent was a lawyer-type evaluating the value of the house after something catastrophic happened to Walt and his whole family.

2. The Gale character was handled so damn well. In previous episodes I thought he was wily and "in on it" as far as taking over for Walt someday. But this episode, in the conversation with Gus especially, and solo moments in his apartment, developed a character whose death became much more tragic.

3. Walt's phone warning to Jesse was another example of how well the writers handle action-oriented plotting. At the start of the conversation, it sounded like Walt was setting up Jesse by luring him to Gale's apartment. As the camera started to zoom in on Jesse, Walt appeared to be an ice-cold selfish villain... then, suddenly... BAMF!

4. Victor appears to have superhero speed in the laundry when he turns and runs to his car to reach Gale first.

5. Speaking of speed, I have to say I did feel like this episode's chess game happened a little too smoothly and quickly. How could Walt be so sure that Gus was going to kill him? Why did Gus feel he had to rush and kill Walt right away? It doesn't even make good business sense to kill Walt (imo), and yet they both were able to make their own individual gambles with complete conviction. I'm still not sure when exactly Walt decided that Gus was going to kill him.

I don't know if there was any other way to write it than they did. Just saying how it felt while watching. I expected Saul to bring Walt into the laser tag store and say, "Hey, they are going to kill Jesse. I didn't want to talk in the car because they might have bugged it." But Walt was already way, way ahead of that. Then again, I thought I was in the middle of a 2-hour episode.

I'm wondering most what will now happen to the character of Jesse, as he has never killed anyone during the course of the show. In many ways he is the one with the higher morals of the two.

In any case couldn't agree more best show on television/ever(?)

Can't believe we are expected to wait 9 whole months for it to pick up again.

Pretty sure next season will be the last one. Also thought that the last episode was nowhere near as good as the 2nd to last.

And is it me or is anyone else wondering if the baby grabbing Walt's glasses was animatronic?

On the final moment: "To me, for what it's worth, it's not actually meant to be ambiguous," Gilligan says.

That was scene was incredible, such great acting. Walt changed from pure desperation to bad ass very convincingly. I loved how he gave the address and said "yeah" and then adjusted his jacket.

I think its interesting how as the season pregressed walt was the innocent person turned into heisenburg/murderer and jesse was a bad guy and by the end of the season we find out hes pretty soft/innocent compared to how the season starts.

Gale wasn't innocent. He was in the game, yo.

and to the posters who said don't overthink/are you leveling with Jesse not shooting him, well, I'm 75% he shot him, but the way this show is it wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't.

I know what you mean but hes as innocent as you can be in "the game", he does a good job of rationalizing his job by saying that he doesnt distribute and that people would be doing meth even if he wasnt a cook. Your right hes not totally innocent, but pretty innocent.

When the show's creator says that the illusion created by a panning camera was unintentional and he expects to explore the ramifications to Jesse's psyche of shooting Gael, I think you can close the book on whether or not Jesse shot him. You might want to keep it open on whether it was fatal, but I can't see that at this point either.
