PJo, if you've noticed, no one has actually been "Tebowned."

Yet somehow, Denver is winning games they have no business winning.

"Tebowned" does not mean Tebow played well. It means Denver won by the grace of God. And that's what happened today. Only God could have that kind of effect on a ballgame.

Thats not how the media portrays it though.

The absolute worst thing about all of this is that we should be 10-3, even after the terrible first month and a half of the season

this team is ****ing aids w/o cutler

just forfeit the season, release everyone on the offensive side except cutler/forte/gould/bennett and rebuild.

this part pisses me off roughly 0.001% less... he's simply not an nfl qb, and the whole nation stroking themselves over him is really annoying. we waxed his ass for 54 minutes or so and still should have just won 10-7. when your kicker makes two 50+ fgs to win it you didn't exactly drive down the field to victory.

We certainly were last regular season, but we lost our starting QB in the conference finals. And we had no Urlacher in 2009, and a long history of losing D players before that.

This is probably all karma still for that Calvin Johnson call

I hate doing this to myself after such a wrist-slitting loss, but I guess I need to look for a miracle to stop myself bridge jumping.

[JimMora]PLAYOFFS?!![/JimMora]

We are one game behind the Lions and Falcons.

The Falcons we have the bolt-on tiebreaker due to beating them. But they have an easy Jax, @NO, TB schedule.

The Lions, we have the tiebreaker, as long as one of our wins is MIN/GB, and they lose @ GB (we end up winning on the Conference record tiebreaker given our 3 losses out of conference, and their 2+ wins out of conference).
The Lions have Oakland and GB on the road sandwiching a home game against SD. They lose I figure 2 of them, and can easy lose 3 (they barely beat the Vikes at home today). If they did lose all 3 then just one win at MIN in Week 17 could easily be enough (depending on Giants/Dallas).

So, we need to catch up one win on the Falcons OR Lions (the latter we need to win a Division game to)
-------------------

The other rivals aren't likely because:
7-5 Cowboys and 6-6 Giants, but they play each other twice, leaving the possibility of the team with the 2nd best record in that division getting a wildcard slim. And we own tiebreakers over both due to them both winning 2+ games out of conference.
A Giants loss tonight should bury the WC for this division.

I've gotta say though, to all the people who love talking **** about "ZOMG the Bears are such a luckbox team, they run soooooooo good," I think it's time for them to stfu a bit.

I don't think it's possible to run any worse than we have over the last month.

SS, we don't have the tiebreaker against the Lions. Intra-division tiebreaker is common games. They beat both KC and Denver. We lost to both of them.

Pretty sure we're like 95% toast now, barring a complete miracle.

Ugh. F**k. Couldn't be more appropriate.

Tell you a guy who pissed me off who won't even get mentioned as being a big part of this loss? Zack F***ing Bowman (who I used to think might be starter material).

He gave up the easy TD with ridic bad zone coverage.
(If they score that TD even a play or two later and they hit the 2-minute warning we can just kneel 3 times.)

He gave up the last pass on 2nd & 12 for 16 yards to put them in FG range.

He basically sh** the bed for the Defense to lose the game.

The Lions were also without six defensive starters today and had Rashied Davis playing CB too. Yes, the same Rashied Davis that played WR for you guys the last 6 years

Doesn't change the fact that Detroit still has a very tough stretch to finish.

But whatever, we're done. I'm not even going to allow thoughts of a miracle creep into my head until we show we can actually win a ****ing game without Cutler.

Ah, yeah, you're right on that score. Certainly if it wasn't a 3-way tie.

It's looking bad, but I'm going to look at common opponents after the Giants game. We're down certainly, but given we need to pick up a win anyway that could change things (or sadly might not).

Just came here to see if Martz was getting some blame, which well he should. I think the announcers were saying that if they just knelt they'd be punting with about six seconds left. And going prevent against Tebow should be firable at this point.

Nothing will ever top the Csonka-Herm Edwards thing, but this certainly has to be top ten minimum of most unlikely losses.

That said, you guys were cooked the moment Cutler went down, just a matter of how slow & painful the end would be, which with Tebow on the schedule should've been obvious.

I'll give Angelo credit, he realised what we needed in the Offseason: More Cowboys.

Last week: RW coughs up the game, taking 7 points off the board (which would have won the game) and turning them into a turnover at the 1.
Barber himself takes 4 points off the board (which would h...) because he can't ****ing line up properly for our gimme TD.

Barber this week runs out of bounds, and fumbles after running through a hole that gets us into chipshot FG range.

Shows what you get when you pick up the castoffs from that s***bucket of a team, which not an hour ago, at home, choked up a 12-point 4th Quarter edge and the Division lead...

Chicago Bears Offense: Needs More Cowboys.
