Well the Vikings fan says he is. But some of that could be being on a ****ty team going nowhere & just trying to pad your stats for FA. As ChiTownDuck pointed out the turf stats are extremely misleading. He was also the best pass rusher available outside of Bennett who they made a run at but he really hates cold weather.

With the pick up of Houston & Young even if he does suck against the run it won't be an issue, being that they are both above average as run defenders.

I want Donald so bad in this draft. I feel like there is going to be an hour of me just praying that he doesn't get picked before the Bears.

What exciting options are left to be had? The only thing I can think of that would get me mildly excited is a one year flyer on Jermichael Finley.

Upon first glance at that schedule...uh, I dunno. First half is nasty. @ Niners, @ Panthers, @ Falcons, @ Pats? Ugh.

list also gives the most unnecessary reminder ever: that Rosenbloom is a sad hack, a limp husk, an unoriginal pointless barren bargain-bin whore, go away rosenbloom, you suck at your job, you wasted their ink, and our time, and your life.

11-5

My buddy plays in the Muslim Football League of Chicago (rec league), and he told me some team showed up this week and their WR was former bear Rasheid Davis. I guess he caught like 5 TDs lol.

Assuming LOL Lions comes through the back half looks fairly reasonable, got to find a way to split with GB.

think we win @ car but lose @ atl ended up at 8-8 bleh

afraid that I agree with emery that donald won't be there @ 14 and he isn't trading up as far as I can tell. Probably going with a CB (fuller?).

my plan A is Donald/Gaines (CB Rice, I like him a fair bit). The DT's are just so ugh after Donald (except Easley who has torn both acls) I'd just avoid them till at least round 3 if we don't get donald. One of the S's could fall into the 2nd.

I'm seeing quite a fair few mocks that have Donald available for us. Don't see a lot of fits in the Top 10 for him...from what I can tell, just have to dodge the Vikes and the Giants.

We'll get a solid player at 14, not worried.

Also, cheers to the best non-playing day of the sports calendar. I ****ing love the draft.

Will spend the first hour and a half of the draft praying for him to fall to the Bears. Then get ****faced drunk when Emery passes.

Donald if available, I think I'd like a CB best if unavailable.

They were obvious they wanted Fuller all week. Not a surprise, so close to Donald, rams d line is sick. Could've traded down since there were a few CB's rated similarly (2p2 liked Verrett a lot who is still on the board after Dal)

Rooting for Gaines in round 2, let's see what happens

Godamn hope Phil made the right pick pulling the trigger with Fuller.

And it tilts the **** out of me no end that no-one EVER falls to us (like Donald).

Meanwhile:
the Cheeseheads get Clinton-Dix @ 21
and Vikes get Bridgewater in basically Round 2.

Which reminds me when they respectively got Rodgers @ 24, and Peterson @ 7.

Which were big falls at the time and not just in hindsight. Can't help but feel history's repeating...

Can't worry about that. You can only control what you control. This was the obvious contingency pick after Donald wasn't available - that **** was locked in right away, it seemed.

I'm cool with it. Says he can play corner, nickel and safety. Options, baby.
