At close of play last night in the Mondogoal £2.5k, I was in 2nd place, about 40 points behind the leader who seemed to have pretty much the 11 highest scoring players. In the reshuffle overnight, he's disappeared and I'm now 1st.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed similar things happening before, but in case anyone is curious, this is the explanation (the original tweet is from the guy who was 1st until the reshuffle):

Last night Mondo had an issue where teams were still able to be edited after kick off, obviously a lot of people saw it and jumped at the chance. Mondo acknowledged this and said tables would be revised as they have time stamped versions of. All lineups so this is why rankings changed late on and payouts took a lot longer. Good news re the time stamp, little frustrating about the bug in the 1st place.

Glad I found this thread though, been a long time FF player (season long) and have some very respectable finishes, cannot wait for DK to open to UK players and bump up the prizepools, unfortunately my mls knowledge isn't up to my European leagues so haven't forayed into that yet, although I'm expecting the rest of the field to be equally handicapped.

Played my first set of games on mondo last night, 5 entries - 5 cashes so all good there. Looking forward to BPL action this weekend.

Quick question, anyone got any general tactic advice for certain types of games?

For Big Field GPPs the general daily fantasy sports advice seems to be to include one or two players who will be low-owned but have the potential for a big points haul. We intend to do a feature on our site in the next few days specifically looking at how to identify these players on Mondogoal.

What do we think about De Bruyne thus weekend?
Any good at all? Cash? GPP?

I'd love for this thread to be more about discussion of actual games, strategy and all that.
I know we all take the 'no-caoching' approach but i think there's a wide gap between that and never talking strategy.
Healthy discussion about players, matches and general strategy could be great from everyone. And even a lineup here and there for the sweats could be nice.

Just an opinion I'd like to share.

If de bruyne takes set pieces prob a turbo fist pump start at that price. If not its a wait and see with me. He's likely a sub risk.

Super weary of city this week altogether. On the road vs a palace team that can play. Has trap game written all over it.

I wouldn't take any city defensive options for sure.

Perhaps Hart, I can see a scenario where he gets a big block game.

Its hard to see KDB jumping to the front of the free kick queue ahead of Toure, Kolarov and Silva. He may share corners with Silva but the other concern is if he plays wide right (in for Navas) will he be as effective as he was in his free roll at Wollfsburg? Watching brief for me.

He's really got a cannon for a foot.
He has the potential of becoming a free kick taker but that's irrelevant for the weekend.

early thoughts but KdB just seems like way too much of a risk this week unless you see something like he starts and 1 of the alternate attackers (Nasri or Navas) aren't even on the bench

I mean Pedro's first match was priced at 5000 away to West Brom and Chelsea had 1 less attacking options to sub for him.

Avoiding kdb this weekend. Nice price but tbh will probably get subbed and palace are looking to play. Agree that probably only take 1 from city if any, and it won't be kdb.

Will Deff keep an eye for future, interesting if he gets to come in from the right often, as navas wasn't really allowed to and sterling rarely does, so he will not be as affective as at Wolfsburg

Also agree that some general discussions is +1 on this page without putting in lots of strats etc

BTW, I may be insane, but I looked at Nyom's stats at a glance and he looks like a very decent cash game. Only woke up and I'm 50% sure I missed something.

Had a look at Nyom when looking into the MG £10k. A potential match-up with Montero (if fit) put me off though as he picks up a lot of cards. For DK cash he looks ok.

Considering him as a value cash player on DK.
I think I'll take a shot on him on 5% of the action to check him out.
