For cash allows you to be more likely to diversify your action. Your games are up for longer and exposed to more players picking games to join.
Also I check lobby often to essentially bumhunt and snatch up h2hs vs unknowns (usually fish). This helps diversify your action and increase your winrate assuming they are fish.
Generally speaking unless you have a massive bankroll you don't want to have the bulk of your action to be with the same players as it can lead to massive variance even if you good edges.
Sometimes this is necessary though if you need to battle for lobby control. For example, pew is prob the top soccer Dfs player but old t has been moving up and posting more games. Chances are they will battle it out taking all each others games for essentially the right to post bigger h2hs. If one person gets crushed they'll essentially have to stop posting games or the other will spam take all their games causing more loses.
I did this to ibasso in mls to the point he completely stopped posting h2hs
I submit early for gpp's so that I don't have to worry about them filling up. You can always edit your lineups later anyway after you have to time to research them/find out who's actually playing.

yeah that is a good reason
interesting to hear the dynamics that occur with cash games, looking forward to being able to get on DK and figure those out
I assume most of you talk about MG, because on DK you can just reserve your spot in GPP's and fill the lineup later.
As for h2h's, on DK at least, you can choose the maximum number of times you want to play the same player. So, for instance, if you're worried about being bumhunted by sharps, you can just set that max to 1 and still post h2h's. Again I have no idea how it works on MG as I am not currently seeing much advantage to playing there.
Hey folks, I interviewed one of the honchos at Mondogoal yesterday for my podcast, and he was a really interesting guy (with +$10k in winnings at DFS soccer - a whole lot more than me ).
Here's the team that he picked for this weekend's Mondogoal slate:
Lloris
Francis
Kompany
Walker
Hazard
Hoolahan
Coutinho
Shaqiri
Aguero
Rondon
Pedro
^ I watched you guys last week and the thing that struck me was how unenthusiastic you were about the fixtures
Surely being Scottish you should be more excited
