There's always like a month out of the year where I'm really confused about my life choices vis a vis my chosen residence.
01-14-2016 , 12:38 PM
That's clearly a dress, not a sweater and skirt. You can't draw for ****
01-14-2016 , 12:38 PM
So you decided to move to Chicago... Apparently you like that month and want to extend it to year around?
01-14-2016 , 12:42 PM
I haven't overlaid the graphies but I'd bet that Chicago avg temp it + 1 or 2 degrees F. And they get way less snow on avg.

Movin' on up

I'm sorry for your loss (of 100 degrees or so)

The next time I do this I decided that I'm going to put ALL of the warm things I own in an airport locker...i'll be leaving in a snowmobile suit if I can find one.

Look at the waist, you can clearly see where the sweater sticks out.

Critiquing fine art is not your strength.

Damn.
You're wrong so often, it's amazing that you can still be so wrong, still.
Congratulations!

Squeezing 50 pages into my toddler-filled day is piece work. I'm 22 pages in aorn...my first comments:

I presume someone thought that Emotional Labour wasn't a real thing, or not important in "The Grand Scheme"?

To that person, I admit that it is the most exhausting "non"issue of my first-world life. If my marriage with GW ever fails disproportionate Emotional Labour will almost certainly be the reason why.

Further, "being mocked or gas-lighted for all this work" is SO. ****ING. IMPORTANT.

Virtually all of us, (men and women) are negligent to the point of abuse wrt to those people who perform our Emotional Labour. It is a massive burden that someone who loves you is carrying. Appreciate it.
01-14-2016 , 04:52 PM
What does that mean?

Not gonna read that article.

It sounds like you are saying that he doesn't care if you're worried or if you're stressing? Hypothetically I mean, if you divorced.

Or you are carrying the emotional burden of the relationship?

I really don't want to read this thing, so cliffs.
01-14-2016 , 05:00 PM
I don't think there's much emotional labour abuse on my part.

I haven't read it all, can't give cliffs...

Oh Jesus Kristy, I didn't mean for you to actually read the entire thing. Just a brief skim of the chapters would have sufficed.
