Yeah, that made no sense ESPECIALLY considering DC just passed legislation making it legal there. Not to mention there are still sites right now that service US online players.

Really sucks to be Scott Huff. Guy signs on with The Big Game, and a few weeks in gets handed his walking papers. I really hope he didn't quit his PA job.

He probably meant that it will never come back as it was. Obviously, when it does come back, the regulation is going to change things one way or another -ie- rakes, taxes, etc.

You obviously haven't listened to the pokercast.

Blah I feel sorry for all the people that will lose their jobs because of this tragedy. Thank you for putting some closure on this cluster #$(#.

I've had a great time playing in the poker cast league and in the invitational. There are a lot of great players in the league. Good luck to all of you in the future.

Thanks Adam, Mike, and Bunner for putting on the podcast. It made getting up for work not as annoying if I knew there was a episode fresh in the ipod.

Some anger needs to be directed at the sites themselves. They were the caretakers of so many millions of poker players money yet they built their flimsy foundation on the hopes nobody finds out about bribing a hard-up bank owner to look the other way.

All the feds had to do was pretend to be a real money player, make a deposit, check the transaction record and voila you have fraud. The sites left a pretty easy blood trail to follow. How stupid and short-sighted can you get? It was an extremely foolish way to handle someone else's money.

Other sites seem to have found a way to deal with the flow of money without getting the Feds at their front door. The indicted sites did not hold up their end of the bargain and should be held accountable.

This is a ridiculous statement. All sites have equal difficulty processing payments. The reason Stars and Tilt have the Feds at their front door is because they are the biggest sites with the most money available to scoop in seizures and fines. If the DOJ wanted to indict the small sites they could and may still do the exact same thing.

You honestly think Bodog or Merge have some foolpoof way to get money to their players that Stars and Tilt were unaware existed.

todd terry might be the most negative person ive ever listened to. A more educated version of George Costanza.

I can't remember the details of the last check I got from bodog but I do remember that the memo line said "For marketing services rendered." True story.
