Swapping FTP for Stars ATM is like 5%, so 5-10% I would think.

People are freaking out pretty badly though.

I would imagine someone who was still getting cashouts quickly, and had the funds to cover could make a killing.

Edit: Ment if you have 20k+ Id email and ask if there's delays on the highstakes bankwire before I paid vig.

I'm all for showing people the positives as well but outright propaganda and either outright lying or just telling half-truths to promote our short-term bottom line would not be very responsible no matter what their goal is imo.
This and......

you guys are way overestimating the actual effect of a 2+2 thread or pokerblog, will have on a site's success, especially in the short term. Public opinion, and most importantly recreational players opinion, is coming from what little mainstream media information that is available.

I too, find myself cringing at all of the negative info coming to light, mostly only because its hurting FTP's chances of thriving in the overseas market while they rake our money back. I have my broll tied up on FTP, and its certainly not going to help our chances.......but in realistically, it's such an insignificant # of people involved in these discussions............ and grinders arent jumping ship as long as the recreational players are still there.

Just looking around full tilt makes me sad, trny numbers are definetely depleted, mid stakes sng's are barely running and high stakes sng's are non existent. Multi table sng's arent running any higher than $26, i used to play the $75 45 man sng's when cash games were tilting me. As for cash fr maxes out at 400nl, used to be at least 1 5/10 game going before. 6 max still goes up to 25/50 on occasion but that seems rare. As for rush, electro is pretty much all that keeps me playing on ft and even that dries up in non peak times and I still don't understand why hermes cant be resurrected by a combined effor of the 400nl player pool and 100nl.

All in all withdrawing problems aside ft kinda sucks.

There were days pre-BF when 400nl was still the highest FR game running. 1000nl was often very, very dead, and 600nl had 3 tables max.

Most of the problem is that every euro is an extreme bumhunter. somehow every time i start a session and theres 1 reg with decent morals to accompany me the number of tables doubles, must be magic.

Propaganda: Propaganda is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position so as to benefit oneself.

"It is not propaganda’s task to be intelligent, its task is to lead to success."

No hard feelings, just sayin'.
I didn't read your post as slimy at all.

I did debate whether to make my most recent post. I'd never say something I knew to be inaccurate. But my choices weren't post my best guess as to the status of our money or propagandize. they were best guess, propagandize, or shut up. I actually put a lot of thought into the third choice.

I balance the candor of the blog post with my vigorous defense of FT in Poker Legislation, Internet Poker and NVG. I have posted repeatedly that I believe our woes are primarily the fault of the DOJ, that FT has always treated us honestly, and would have already paid us if it could. In addition, I've been trying to tamp down all of the unfounded "ZOMG, FT never had enough money on hand to pay us out" speculation.

I have money on FTP, am American, and of course desperately want this money back. Having said that, I am glad DoubleFly and Mpethy are posting their thoughts are what is going on and how awful FTP has handled this. I seriously doubt any non US players are going to stop playing on FTP because of either of their blogs and the truth needs to be said, no matter what happens, imo. I commend them for not pulling any punches and especially mpethy for shedding light on the legal side of things.
Thanks. I haven't been to D'Fly's (excellent) blog in a while--I'm gonna trot over their today and see what he has to say.

Anyone going to be in Vegas (or is in Vegas) next week? I'm going to be there from the 10th till the 15th (with my gf, but she plays cards as well), probably end up playing poker at Mirage, Venetian and Bellagio at some point as well, or if anyone is interested in partying.

I'm going to be playing in event 56: 1,500 NLHE on july 5th. If anyone is interested in any of my action just PM me. I'm not charging any markup because I'm not gonna pretend like I'm some tourney player.
