Set season highs for pars (5) and worse than double bogeys (4). I had some of my best iron shots all year and some of my worst. Never really got close to bogey golf this year. *Sigh*

Iron game was terrible but I somehow scraped it around to not be completely terrible.
Low light was driving a par 4 (played the white tees today) and then proceeding to 3-putt par. Left a really bad 3 foot downhill putt for birdie, and obv didn't go well.

Going back out tonight to test out the arm lock putter that was waiting for me when I came home.

40-39-79 (par 71). No birdies, no double bogeys.

Decent ball striking, though I did not have many birdies looks. Several really good pitches, that area has been improving thanks to some softer hands.

What is your training regimen to get softer hands?

And then today I hit the ball way worse than the score indicated. Played the tips as practice for club championship next weekend. (6,616y - 73.0/147)

40-42 82 11 par 4 bogies 3 doubles

Putted like trash; 3 3-putts. Only one penalty shot off the tee (one more set up by going for a green after a crappy tee shot when I should have punched up short of the green, but meh).

Need to keep dialing the long game and start rolling in some putts

37-36 (3birds, no doubles) on a par 72 130 slope. Best round of my life! Probably made like 150ft of putts which didn't hurt and also finished the same ball which is very unusual for me. Previous best was 75 and I'm an 11.6 index so this was pretty exciting, net 59!

75 on the easy par 71, 3birdies and two lipped-out argh. Has to be my best October score, was 43 in fahrenheit so not tooo bad with little wind. Was hitting bad irons but luck and short game bailed out. Missed three 3-footers in holes 16/17 so that sucked. Friend had a lip-out for albatross lol, 520y par-5 which usually has heavy wind and no chance of getting there in two.

Played Colorado Golf Club yesterday (7264 yards, 74.5/143). Shot 89 (my handicap is currently 0).

On #4 I had a 60 foot par putt that ended up in a bunker. Left the next one in the bunker. Blasted the next one to 50 feet. Ended up making a 5 footer for quad. Ended up with 2 quads, a triple, and 2 doubles on the day.

On my second shot on 16 from the left fairway bunker I aimed left of the green so a slope could funnel it down towards the hole. I hit the shot left of where I intended, and ended up in the water to the right of the green....

Chipped one in for birdie and missed a couple of shortish birdie putts. Actually didn't hit the ball too bad, but whenever I got just a little off the course just tore me a new one. I'm just not used to playing greens that are that hard and fast. I actually handled super hard and fast greens pretty well when I played Pinehurst #2 back in August, but this time not so much.
