51-47-98 at the local in a howling southerly. Monthly medal and on a Saturday that means you're playing from the tips. First time I've ever played Saturday comp at my home course and somehow also the first time I've ever played the course from the tips!
In the wind it was very, very tough. Still plenty of players to come in but my net 77 was leading C grade by 4 and there are only 3 scores ahead of me.

Drove the ball atrociously. Putted well but lipped out heavily a couple times, pretty brutal.

Only 2 fairways hit and only the one GIR

48-40 - 88. Irons pretty good, but now can´t drive at all.

38-45-83. No birdies, 1 double bogey.

Held it together with duck tape on the front, then just lost all ability to hit a shot on the back. Did manage to stake one in to 2 feet on a par 3, missed the putt. Everything sucked but for ball striking to be that poor is demoralizing.

Played like **** but I tweaked my back and it was 105 degrees...so whatever.

Frustrating round. Was one over after 6 holes, my best start ever. And I missed an easy birdie putt on #6, really should have been even par. Then, I skulled an 80 yd. approach shot over the green on #7, ended up with a triple bogey, got dejected, and my round fell apart. Finished 41-48-89.

Starting to wonder if I'll ever break 80. Been swinging really well but whenever I start out good I start thinking "this might be the round", and then boom, here comes the blowup hole.

2 birdies, 9 pars, 6 bogeys, 1 double

Steady rain all round long. After going +5 the first 4 holes I learned how to hit in the rain (read: put the driver away) I went +1 the rest of the way. My two bogeys on the back were both 3-putts. Rain gloves are one of the best things for golf ever.

80 -77 at 2 new courses i haven't played
I was lol 1 for 7 for birdie putts under 15 feet in the 77 round.

40-47-87. No birdies, 3 double bogeys.

Still having major swing issues. Short game not helping eiher. Frustrating.

Was hitting the driver well today, all the missed fairways were pretty close and ball was going far. Was a little off though, missed 4 greens with a wedge in my hand which just can't happen. Grinded out some pars with good putting and average short game but lost focus on a few.

Somehow my hcap has dropped enough to take another shot from me. Played off 20 at my home course today and reeeeally didn't feel like I was ready.
Of course, had the most ******ed start - could not swing properly and topped my tee shot on the 1st and tripled. Similar garbage on the 2nd for a double. Overcooked a wedge to double the third then topped my tee shot hard left on the long par 5 4th...

...And found a way to make par. From there on out I shot a pretty tidy +13 on the final 15 holes to shoot bang on my new lifetime low handicap. If I hadn't completely butchered my chip on the 11th it could've been a lot better, but I'll take it for sure.

Been raining here for about 6 days straight. We need the rain so I guess I can wait it out. On Sunday the rough was actually growing so progress from the drought.

All is right with the world I suck at golf again.

Used the 18birdies app. No really any more special that the other options out there. GPS works good and keeps all the stats you need. Only reason I wanted it was for the social media in it so I can share with friends. For that reason I will keep using it.

The last double on the day I thought it was a good idea to go at a 165y shot over water to the green in knee high wispy rough with the ball a foot above my feet.

45-42 - 87. The easy par 71 course. Some disaster shots, but mostly pretty decent shots (better than lately) untill greenside and then just meltdown. 45 days into golfing season and it aint looking pretty, hope I start to get some clue soon.

A rare mid-day Friday nine. Ball striking mostly decent, distance control on putting improved though I still didn't make anything.
