I was so nervous on 18, I knew I needed a par to shoot 68 for my best round ever...it's a 600 yard par 5. I had 105 in for my 3rd, and knocked it to five feet and made birdie!

I was so pumped all day after that.

lol seriously? I was on the links yesterday too. There's a very good chance you were either a few groups ahead of me or behind lol. I tee'd off around 10am and ended at 3pm, was in a foursome. congrats on that round, thats sick.

^ Links is the best course in the area. I think redhook is a lot tougher and can be considered better, but I like the general flow of how links plays out

Almost had a hole-in-one today. Landed 8 iron six inches past hole, it rolled back to six inches in front of the hole, missing the cup by about an inch. Only time I've ever been real close.

That had to be a thrill, when did you realize that it was going to be close?
Was it still in flight or not until it hit that you knew it had a chance?

Not until it landed. There was some headwind so I wasn't sure about club selection until it hit, even though I knew I hit it perfectly.

43-41 84. No birdies and 3 doubles

Played back 9 with the 17 year old son of the club pro. Has a great chance to win the Colorado 3A State title this fall. Plays about a +2.5; wants to play golf at Oregon or Boise state.

He shot 34 this afternoon after winning the club championship in the AM. Was fun to watch.

Best round of my life by far today.

69 (-2) at Wild Turkey in NJ. Course specs: 71.4/131 6555 yrds.

I'm a 6.5 handicap and have never broken par for 18 in my life, only broken par for 9 holes once prior to today. I was 5 under on 15 tee before getting extremely nervous and going +3 the final 4 holes.

This course is also a lot harder than most of the munis I play. I can't imagine ever shooting a better round than the one I did today. I should probably just quit.

Wasn't enough to win. I lost on count back.
Developed a top off the tee on the back nine and only had 13 point.
5 pars, 3 worse then a double.
