Didn't get those facts right because someone erased my other post where I was explaining my situation with the guy. Ever since I talked to the dude over the phone he immediately started offering drugs and women and everything I wanted delivered to me if I stayed at one of his units. It's my first time working outside of the states and all I was asking for was info on living here and this dude took it to a whole new level I don't understand what kind of professionalism that is, but it is not the way I do business. I started asking around with other players staying there in Rosarita and the majority had nothing good to say about the guy. For instance my buddies staying at Ricamar he was charging 2300 hundred per month for the unit and the realtor in charge only getting 1800 every time rent was due, he was keeping 500 to himself every month and the realtor was not even aware about the situation. Then he hasn't returned a security deposit to another player from the penthouse at La Jolla that's 1k he refuses to return. I asked around La jolla for one of the owners info because that's where I planned to stay, he was offering me a unit for 1900 and when I located the owner if I dealt with him directly he was willing to give me the unit for 1300 on a 6 month lease I mean I don't know why he's overcharging for the units, if he really wanted to help me out he would be willing to get me a better price not fucc me over... if the dude has been good to you, then cool but if he's trying to do this to new poker players moving here to Mexico, I just find it really unprofessional imo

Anyways, seems like you are being a little uptight in the first part of your post imo. The second part about rent could be a miscommunication about peak season prices. Prices skyrocket this time of the year. Just my guess though, Scott has been unbelievably helpful for me.
