To expand on the above. I've never been to a gym with bumper plates and a competent Oly coach. So if presented with one, I'd obv take it up. There is also no real substitute for high intensity bilateral exercise wrt lower body development. Everything else is inferior for strength development.

I don't agree that just putting things overhead anyhow is really sufficient for shoulder strength/hypertrophy. Are you getting this from broz? I don't really think his advice and training method can be applied or is suitable across the board and I'm not sure he even sees that.

Other News,

I sent Alan my e-mail. He's working on his AARR so I stayed up late grinding it for no reason. On one hand I'm tempted to try really hard and be super ultra great looking. Since elitism is a personal predilection. However, another part of me just wants to see if I can get a cap on e-mail support instituted... like "I will only answer 500 e-mails a month" or if I can get rejected as a client from an e-mail based consulting service. Actually, I'm just kinda lazy... so I'll probably just grind out my diet. Live like a hermit and do what I want. (Wait till its warm enough to take naps in the sun, etc

In other news, I hate how bag salad gets little spoiled pieces on it. In America I'd just punt the whole bag. But here after consuming mildly curdled milk on the reg, it doesn't bother me. Smiley probably would call me a "bourgeois mother****er" for complaining about spoiled bits of spring greens, or which shop carries my preferred brand of pickle. But I would ignore these accusations.

I took some pretty sweet before nudes for Alan (We are on a first name basis because I've gotten two form responses, and one auto response from him) I followed AB's advice that involved not eating, booze, and poor lighting. I'm pretty sure that I'm 48 hours from a radical makeover. Well... and the fact that I'll gain 6-8 lbs of water/food/etc weight and not look water retained as I won't be semi-drunk will help.

Personal Health Information:


Just decided to try an all natural colonic. Chased 400g of corn with some bad chicken. Worked great. I could feel the toxins leaving my body.


ETA: Pretty sure that the mucoid plaque was expunged from my body. I feel lighter and more free.

why is squatting 300 pounds better for lower body development than doing a elevated foot split squat for 200 pounds?

but why are there opinions like that? what is it about heavy weights that stimulates muscle growth.

i mean, if muscle growth is based on damaging the muscles, you can damage muscle by targeting more specific muscles with heavy weights
